It’s the joy in the tone of those who rant about “bringing it on.” Most of the guys here who do that probably don’t live in the areas where riots are apt to break out. It has nothing to do with cowering.

Evidence? We don’t need no f’ing evidence. The creepy ass cracker killed Obama’s son. It was on the news.

I understand your point. However most people do in fact cower and have done so for years. They fear that if they make a simple statement that they will be threatened, either some Justice Brother will scream racist or someone will accuse them of being armchair patriots and braggarts when they do not know that to be the case.

I am not saying people should be commended and encouraged to make idle boasts. I am saying people, had they spoke up ... when it still mattered...instead of shut up, would not be facing actual violence instead of harsh language.

"What is it with freepers who always say “bring it on”? It sounds so embarrassing and bombastic!"

Yes, some replies are "bombastic", but you should remember that many on this board are so fed up with the double standard of racism and the totalitarian control of our country. I find no fault in those who are law-abiding gun owners who would defend their lives and/or property, as the Koreans did in the Rodney King riots in Los Angeles back in 1991.

Give them a break - they're fed up and most likely just showing their frustration in a non-violent way. Doubt any on this board would actually shoot rioters unless their lives or livelihood were in danger.

That said, I have no problem with LEO's shooting looters. Yes, it's only theft, but since our country has become so politically correct, looting is now the accepted norm.

Again, think about the Rodney King riots and all the looting and burning that occurred. The Los Angeles police pulled out and the city burned. They were even attacking the fire-fighters. Some people just need to die before others to maintain a civilized society. Shall I point out all the atrocities in Africa and around the world? Guess that is "bombastic", also.

I agree with what you say. It’s the idle boasting - as you say - that sometimes gets me!

You apparently don’t understand what I was saying. I’m just tired of phony dramatics here at FR.

I’ve got MSNBC on. They are really unhappy. Gloria Allred’s harpy daughter is especially upset. Loving it.

IMHO, you are wrong.

This isn't about strategy. It is not about a cause. It is not about the growth of a movement or about tactics.

It is about barbaric force and animalistic urges. It is about violence, destruction and the theft of property.

They are only looking for a reason to act upon their impulses.

Just as Memorial Day was a reason, an especially warm weekend night can be a reason. The local sports team winning a championship can be a reason. An innocent verdict in this case would be another reason and a really big one at that.

The less that the feral populations are held to account, the more reasons they will find to riot.

Apparently you didn't read that I was agreeing with you that some replies ARE "bombastic". I was trying to explain that some are simply using an anonymous outlet to vent their frustrations. Think we're actually in agreement about many posts on this board. I also get tired of keyboard commandos, and I've been one of those in the past. Best...

Williams ~:” Probably the AOL writer is hoping half the readers won’t know what “Jibes” means.”

The AOL internet news access is pretty much controlled by the Huffington Post, which is NOT known for objectivity.
AOL and Huffington Post are co-branded ; if you get one , the other comes with it as ‘a package’ deal .

This testimony ended the case. The jury is laughing at the prosecutor now.

So, what exactly would you do if rioting came to your neighborhood and your personal safety was being imminently threatened? Crawl under the bed and hope they didn’t find you?

AOL /Huffinton Post are co-branded for internet access.

The Huffington Post shows just a little more journalistic talent than MSNBC .
The Huffington Post is more like getting second-hand information right from the White House.

Hey, I’ve spent 30 years in the urban jungle of NYC and have feral-like abilities to get myself out of danger. I can spot it a mile away and I can run like hell. I’ll put my street smarts up against yours any day, lol!

There is a very simple solution to your tiredness.

See that little red block in the upper right corner of your monitor?

Move your cursor to the 'x' in that block. Left click on it. Your problem is solved.

You forgot the "Call 911 and hope help arrives before the imminently time is up."
