2Jn 1:10-11 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: (11) For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

We don’t need the LDS to preach the Gospel or stand against sins like homosexuality. I’d be careful to give any support to these people, especially when told that merely to wish such as these “God speed” makes you a partaker of their evil deeds. Considering how far Mormonism has come in this culture, even getting Billy Graham (or at least his son) to remove the LDS from their Cult section on their website, I think we can safely conclude that wishing them ‘God Speed’ has aided and abetted them very well.

“That’s because you’re a disruptive collectivist shill trying to keep conservatives from finding common cause.”

If I’m a collectivist shill for refusing to stand with anti-Christian groups, I guess that makes you a Mormon anti-Christian shill. Same logic, really.

“I’d much rather stand against homosexuality and Mormonism at the same time.”

Hmmm. Let’s see. So you hate Mormons and gays equally, even though Mormons fought to pass Prop 8 in California and are fervent defenders of marriage between one man and one woman. Let me guess: You are a REAL Christian, right? And all Mormons are going straight to hell, right?

Not that you are able to open your heart and mind even one inch - but Mormons are Christians, too. We love the Savior with all our hearts.

I can quote from the Bible, too, and I could twist and spin and interpret the Holy Words to bash you over the head and beat you senseless.

But actually I don’t like to play that game, nor do I think it is pleasing to the Lord.

God bless you.

P.S. Glad you are not my judge; my Judge is Jesus Christ. Whew!!

“Hmmm. Let’s see. So you hate Mormons and gays equally”

By this logic, I take it you hate gays?

“We love the Savior with all our hearts.”

Correction, you love the Mormon Jesus with all your hearts. The one that is a product of sexual relations in heaven between Elohim and one of his Goddess wives. And if you’re really really good, you’ll become a God too.

Isa_43:10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

At least in theory you love the Mormon Jesus with all your heart. Sometimes I wonder about that:

1. Praise to the man who communed with Jehovah!
Jesus anointed that Prophet and Seer.
Blessed to open the last dispensation,
Kings shall extol him, and nations revere.

(Chorus]
Hail to the Prophet, ascended to heaven!
Traitors and tyrants now fight him in vain.
Mingling with Gods, he can plan for his brethren;
Death cannot conquer the hero again.

2. Praise to his mem’ry, he died as a martyr;
Honored and blest be his ever great name!
Long shall his blood, which was shed by assassins,
Plead unto heav’n while the earth lauds his fame.

3. Great is his glory and endless his priesthood.
Ever and ever the keys he will hold.
Faithful and true, he will enter his kingdom,
Crowned in the midst of the prophets of old.

4. Sacrifice brings forth the blessings of heaven;
Earth must atone for the blood of that man.
Wake up the world for the conflict of justice.
Millions shall know “Brother Joseph” again.

So you're an adherent to the philosophy that "all religions are equal spokes on the same wheel leading to the same center hub".

Might I suggest you brush up on your "old testament".
G-d, Himself is the only Judge....capital 'J' Judge, as in a heavenly title, but G-d is not the only one who can judge.
Those who keep all of His Commandments (Torah), those who are righteous in His Word (Torah) can judge:
Zechariah 3:7-
This is what the LORD of Hosts says: If you walk in My ways and keep My instructions, you will both judge My house and take care of My courts; I will also grant you access among these who are standing here."
Ezra 7:25-
“And you, Ezra, according to the wisdom of your God that is in your hand, appoint magistrates and judges who may judge all the people in the province Beyond the River, all such as know the laws of your God. And those who do not know them, you shall teach.
1 Kings 3:9-
"So give Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people to discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?"

G-d does impart the authority for the righteous man to judge, examine, discern, ask, question, contend, and determine over the unrighteous....and at many times G-d has commanded man to do so.

Mormons fought to pass Prop 8 in California
_________________________________________________

Kid we have not forgotten that the Mormons worked against McCain and the Conservatives and republicans in 2008 by finding “busy work” to do instead of supporting the GOP nominee againt Obama

we have not forgotten that the Mormons helped Obama get elected...

The Christians in CA had been working on a marriage amendment to their state constitution for some time finetuning it so it would pass..

The Mormons were in a fit because the liberal abortion pushing father of gay marriage Willard Mitt Romney had been rejected by the Conservatives..

no surprise but the Mormons thought Willard had been entitled...

kind of like his Daddy George had thought he was entitled back in 1964 and 1968...

so like George had done they were not about to help the GOP nominee..

they looked arounds real faSst to find something else to do anjd spied the hard working Christians in CA working on their one man one woman marriage amendment intending to add it to the balloot in 2010 whebn it had been finished and perfected...

it was not ready in 2008...

So the Mormons muscled in and took over and forced the CA groups to submit the unfinished Prop that year...

The Mormons poured millions of their $500 $BILLION dollars stolen from their poor members and coerced their members to knock on doos in CA

with NO intention to have the Prop 8 made into law...

just to keep too busy to help McCain...

Was I surprised when Prop 8 got thrown out ???

No I wasnt I was just sad for the Christians of CA and the nasty way they had been used..

In TN we have our own Marriage Act which we got thank you very much without the so called “help” of the Mormons...

nor did the Mormons help any other state that have a Marriage Act or tried to pass one...

The Mormons got involved in Prop 8 not because they are against gay marriage..

Their own nominee Willard is the father of gay marriage in MASS

they got involved because they wanted McCain to lose...

In 2012 the Mormons didnt need any other busy work..

they were busy trying to get their flawed liberal Willard elected...

and that kid as you well know because Ive exposed you and your fairy tales before...

is the rest of the ugly story...

If nothing else, OSC does great movie reviews (and books, and other things):

http://www.hatrack.com/osc/reviews/everything/index2013.shtml

His review of The Hobbit, as an example:

“Which is why The Hobbit was such a dreadful disappointment. Oh, it’s making money — Peter Jackson does know how to use New Zealand scenery to good effect. (Though, to tell the truth, the special effects are often surprisingly shoddy.)

In Lord of the Rings, Jackson proved his absolute noncomprehension of story, as he fiddled with one of the greatest works of literature of all time, adding his own childish and stupid story elements while cutting out the very heart (and the primary valediction) of the original.

But with The Hobbit, a slighter work to begin with, Jackson’s contempt for Tolkien and his incompetence as an inventor of stories is laid bare. There is no legitimate way to stretch this picaresque tale into three films.

But Jackson is that tragic creation of Hollywood: a filmmaker who believes the stupidest things he was taught in film school. Thus every new element he introduces is straight from the best-thumbed volumes of the Collected Cliches of Hollywood, and his use of them is astonishingly uninspired.

You know you’re in the hands of incompetents when a movie resorts to that ubiquitous line of dialogue in an action sequence: “Go go go!”

When, in real life, has anyone every spoken like that? Maybe now they do, because the line has been so grossly overused in movies; but let’s face it, this is straight out of the Dick and Jane primers. “Run, Spot, run!” “Go, Dick, go!”

Every change that Jackson makes from Tolkien’s original makes it worse. In the novel, Gandalf overcomes the trolls by cleverness. In Jackson’s movie, nobody is clever — Gandalf simply splits a boulder apart to allow sunlight to shine through. Brute force. Who can read Tolkien and think that brute force is how victories are achieved by the good guys?

Peter Jackson filming Tolkien is like putting Saruman in charge of writing the history of Middle Earth. He thinks he’s being subtle and clever, but he never understands what’s really going on at all.

The Hobbit is not a great book, but it’s a good one. Tolkien was very careful to keep the use of magic to a minimum, and to put strict limitations on what magic could do. In Tolkien’s work, the power to heal is in few people’s hands — Elrond and Aragorn — and it’s a slow process even so.

But Jackson, perhaps too schooled in the usages of videogames, has people healing the sick and injured with the alacrity of picking up health points. Tolkien makes sure that Gandalf is wise more than powerful, and that he intervenes rarely; Jackson uses Gandalf as the secret weapon in all situations.

Nowhere is Jackson’s reliance on videogames more obvious than in the battle inside the orc caves, where audiences have a right to groan over a long, utterly absurd sequence of miraculous stunts that make it impossible to believe — all of them designed like a videogame level, complete with the Boss at the end.

All the cliches of bad filmmaking are present: The bad guys who are fifty feet away and on horseback, yet somehow, a moment later, manage to be three hundred yards behind the heroes. The bad guys who always miss, while the good guys make incredibly lucky moves when the story needs them to.

Did we really need to have a revenge plot involving Thorin and an orc chieftain?

And couldn’t somebody have tried to write dialogue at the level of diction, cleverness and care that Tolkien invariably applied to his work?

Despite all of Peter Jackson’s destructive and arrogant changes, however, two actors emerge from the mess with his dignity intact: Ian McKellen, who makes Gandalf seem smart even when the writing makes him dumb; and, above all, Martin Freeman as Bilbo.

The dwarves, alas, are dwarf soup — the film tries to distinguish some of them, but Tolkien gave us too many of them to work with and Jackson hasn’t the talent to overcome their sheer numbers. I’ve heard people say that Thorin emerges from the pack, but only because he’s given lots of dialogue and the most obvious of motivations.

But Freeman, who plays Watson in the new BBC series Sherlock and had a wonderful, if naked, part in Love Actually, is the entire reason why the movie is watchable. His good-natured earnestness transcends the stupidity of the writing, so that we like him and care about him and admire him. As so often in Hollywood, casting trumps all.”

I am an agnostic who values my Baptist, Catholic, Mormon, and other decent friends with whom I share many more values than not. I figure we who find ourselves the target of the Leviathan should stick together and let the doctrinal differences be settled later by a higher power. Or not. Either way, we should all stand together or surely we shall all hang separately. I am a staunch defender of our Judeo-Christian Culture and have found the many LDS folks I have known to be the same. I stand with you.

I predict 400 years of increasing darkness. The self-righteous will form groups that will divide into smaller and smaller packs over doctrinal differences.

One by one these small roving packs of purists might have to incorporate cannibalism into their theology in order to make due.

Do people still take your posts seriously? I have a very hard time reading through the the vitriol.

Mormons have been involved in anti gay marriage legislation in many states, dating back to the late 80’s, early 90’s. I believe the Hawaii case was a good 10 years before the California Prop 8 one.

Take some time to research Baehr v. Miike, you might learn something you never imagined the Mormons were capable of, no matter how much you hate them.

Here's a brief to get you started.

Yeah, because the difference between polytheism and monotheism is a mere “doctrinal difference” among Christians.

“Mormons worked against McCain and the Conservatives and republicans in 2008 by finding ‘busy work’ to do instead of supporting the GOP nominee againt (sic) Obama”

I, as many of my conservative & LDS friends, were not thrilled with the McCain candidacy but we sure did vote for him - or rather we voted for Sarah Palin. I have never heard that any of us worked tirelessly to oppose him once he was the nominee - unlike the anti Romney goons who could not rest from their labors of bashing and trashing the 2012 Presidential nominee.

I have no idea what you are talking about but I know you can never find it in your heart to say one good thing about us Mormons. (I suppose you will have this post taken down.)

God bless you.

Paranoid “victim” much ???

No kid I dont do that as you well know...

I hope it stays up to show how you accuse Christians without cause...

“never” etc...

Meanwhile kid there is nothing “good” about adultery AKA polygamy...

God “can never find it in His heart to say one good thing about” polygamy...

and yet your own Mormon leader Brigham Young said you yourself would be damned if you dont commit adultery/polygamy...

The LORD Jesus Christ, who is the God of the Christian Bible said that we are damned of we do...

so who is right ???

Joey Smith, the god of ther Mormons ???

Or The LORD Jesus Christ, the God of the Christians ???

Joey Smith claimed that the sexual deviancy of polygamy was “righteousness”

The LORD Jesus Christ said that it was not, but that it was the way to death...

Choose the right way kid but choose wisely grasshopper...

remembering that The LORD Jesus Christ destroyed the unwise lying false propet Joey Smith...

PING to the lovely Elsie, the keeper of BY excathedra type pronouncements..

I have no idea what you are talking about but I know you can never find it in your heart to say one good thing about us Mormons.

You see to have MORMON leadership mixed up with people who post FACTS about Mormonism - like ME!

Questions put to Joseph Smith: "'Do you believe the Bible?' [Smith:]'If we do, we are the only people under heaven that does, for there are none of the religious sects of the day that do'. When asked 'Will everybody be damned, but Mormons'? [Smith replied] 'Yes, and a great portion of them, unless they repent, and work righteousness." (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 119).
Joseph Smith: "for the teachers of religion of the different sects understood the same passages of scripture so differently as to destroy all confidence in settling the question by an appeal to the Bible" (from Pearl of Great Price 1:12). "What is it that inspires professors of Christianity generally with a hope of salvation? It is that smooth, sophisticated influence of the devil, by which he deceives the whole world" (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p.270).

Brigham Young stated this repeatedly: "When the light came to me I saw that all the so-called Christian world was grovelling in darkness" (Journal of Discourses 5:73); "The Christian world, so-called, are heathens as to the knowledge of the salvation of God" (Journal of Discourses 8:171); "With a regard to true theology, a more ignorant people never lived than the present so-called Christian world" (Journal of Discourses 8:199); "And who is there that acknowledges [God's] hand? ...You may wander east, west, north, and south, and you cannot find it in any church or government on the earth, except the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" (Journal of Discourses , vol. 6, p.24); "Should you ask why we differ from other Christians, as they are called, it is simply because they are not Christians as the New Testament defines Christianity" (Journal of Discourses 10:230).

Orson Pratt proclaimed: "Both Catholics and Protestants are nothing less than the 'whore of Babylon' whom the Lord denounces by the mouth of John the Revelator as having corrupted all the earth by their fornications and wickedness. Any person who shall be so corrupt as to receive a holy ordinance of the Gospel from the ministers of any of these apostate churches will be sent down to hell with them, unless they repent" (The Seer, p. 255).

Orson Pratt also said: "This great apostasy commenced about the close of the first century of the Christian era, and it has been waxing worse and worse from then until now" (Journal of Discourses
, vol.18, p.44) and: "But as there has been no Christian Church on the earth for a great many centuries past, until the present century, the people have lost sight of the pattern that God has given according to which the Christian Church should be established, and they have denominated a great variety of people Christian Churches, because they profess to be ...But there has been a long apostasy, during which the nations have been cursed with apostate churches in great abundance" (Journal of Discourses , 18:172).

President John Taylor stated: "Christianity...is a perfect pack of nonsense...the devil could not invent a better engine to spread his work than the Christianity of the nineteenth century." (Journal of Discourses , vol. 6, p.167); "Where shall we look for the true order or authority of God? It cannot be found in any nation of Christendom." (Journal of Discourses , 10:127).

James Talmage said: "A self-suggesting interpretation of history indicates that there has been a great departure from the way of salvation as laid down by the Savior, a universal apostasy from the Church of Christ". (A Study of the Articles of Faith, p.182).

President Joseph Fielding Smith said: "Doctrines were corrupted, authority lost, and a false order of religion took the place of the gospel of Jesus Christ, just as it had been the case in former dispensations, and the people were left in spiritual darkness." (Doctrines of Salvation, p.266). "For hundreds of years the world was wrapped in a veil of spiritual darkness, until there was not one fundamental truth belonging to the place of salvation ...Joseph Smith declared that in the year 1820 the Lord revealed to him that all the 'Christian' churches were in error, teaching for commandments the doctrines of men" (Doctrines of Salvation, vol. 3, p.282).

More recent statements by apostle Bruce McConkie are also very clear: "Apostasy was universal...And this darkness still prevails except among those who have come to a knowledge of the restored gospel" (Doctrines of Salvation, vol 3, p.265); "Thus the signs of the times include the prevailing apostate darkness in the sects of Christendom and in the religious world in general" (The Millennial Messiah, p.403); "a perverted Christianity holds sway among the so-called Christians of apostate Christendom" (Mormon Doctrine, p.132); "virtually all the millions of apostate Christendom have abased themselves before the mythical throne of a mythical Christ whom they vainly suppose to be a spirit essence who is incorporeal uncreated, immaterial and three-in-one with the Father and Holy Spirit" (Mormon Doctrine, p.269); "Gnosticism is one of the great pagan philosophies which antedated Christ and the Christian Era and which was later commingled with pure Christianity to form the apostate religion that has prevailed in the world since the early days of that era." (Mormon Doctrine, p.316).

President George Q. Cannon said: "After the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was organized, there were only two churches upon the earth. They were known respectively as the Church of the Lamb of God and Babylon. The various organizations which are called churches throughout Christendom, though differing in their creeds and organizations, have one common origin. They all belong to Babylon" (Gospel Truth, p.324).

President Wilford Woodruff stated: "the Gospel of modern Christendom shuts up the Lord, and stops all communication with Him. I want nothing to do with such a Gospel, I would rather prefer the Gospel of the dark ages, so called" (Journal of Discourses , vol. 2, p.196).
