Very interesting

Very interesting indeed, but I’ll say this. Even if we captured the senate in 2014, this would not get the nod from enough of the other states.

These efforts don’t impress me. It’s tantamount to withdrawing into a smaller and smaller enclave, rather than standing and fighting and wrestling our entire state or nation back from the barbarians.

Bad Idea. More folks from California will just move there, and we’ll have more Dem Senators.

I should research this thoroughly but IIRC creating...and admitting...a new state is a long, complicated process that requires both Congressional approval and the approval of a percentage of state legislatures as well.If I'm correct this isn't necessarily a done deal...even if the folks of “North Colorado” support it.

The one way to destroy the federal government would be for every county or county equivalent in the nation to become a state.
Doing so would establish 3143 states and require a US Senate with 6286 US Senators.
With a Senate that big, nothing would get done and the federal government would cease to function.

It will never happen if you don’t try.

Look at the demographics and how FUBAR everything is in this country is.
We lost.
Separation is the only option right now.
But screw forming new states, Liberals will just move there when they F*up their areas like they are doing to Texas, we need areas forming their own countries so we can keep them out.
These counties should join other counties in a straight line to the Pacific and form the Country of Jefferson.
After we separate, then we can work on taking back lost areas.

New York State has 52 counties that should secede from New York City and Albany.
It would be called the State of Liberty.
Cuomo, Bloomberg et alii have gang-bang raped the Lady of Liberty.

In NY you basically have half a dozen counties running the entire state.

Then make the state have a constitution that states that you CANNOT be a liberal or Dem in order to be a resident of the state. Make it as rightwing as possible as the this is old news: the reason why they are seceding is because they stated the liberals in the major cities have usurped their voices.

They ought to create a state of East California, which would be as “red” as Oklahoma, Idaho or Utah.

It's outside the box, bold and creative. It's not withdrawing at all. It sends a powerful signal across the entire nation as well.

US Constitution, Article IV, Section 3
Section. 3.
New States may be admitted by the Congress into this Union; but no new State shall be formed or erected within the Jurisdiction of any other State; nor any State be formed by the Junction of two or more States, or Parts of States, without the Consent of the Legislatures of the States concerned as well as of the Congress.
