Now back to my enjoyment of the media outrage and lamebrain protests and pretentious outrage over the verdict --

and watching Angela Corey and her prosecution team throw the jury and the justice system under the bus by calling Zimmerman a cold blooded killer who got away with murder.

While we’re speculating, another possibility is that this case was specifically selected for a calculated assault on the 2nd Amendment (as was F&F, but in this case, it is a direct assault from a legal front). chose this particular venue and case because the corrupt state attorney’s office and the racial element provided an opportunity to railroad the accused and to falsely characterize self-defense as murder, thus setting a new precedent and weakening 2nd amendment rights by default.

There is no question but that some of what you suggest was definitely in play here. There are actually two major targets of the Left involved, which should explain some of the frothing at the mouth on MSNBC.

Yes, the Left hates the 2nd Amendment. But to really understand the frenzy here, you need to reflect why they hate the 2nd Amendment so much. It is one of the pillars of the culture of personal responsibility--individual responsibility--on which our whole political social culture is based. It is personal responsibility that drives traditional America. It is personal responsibility that is our first & only real defense against the Godless/Egalitarian/Collectivist premises that drive the Left.

Zimmerman is a target because he dared to want to take a personal/moral responsibility for the safety of his own neighborhood. That a gun was involved; that a death resulted; that an agitation could be stirred up to give cover to the attempted lynching, all encouraged the gambit.

Of course Travon Martin's parents are simply being used as pawns for the gambit. The objective has nothing directly to do with them. The objective, as is ever the case with the far Left, is our whole heritage & way of life.

As I posted on another thread: He, Savage, changed a tad but I still didn’t like his analysis. Had his psychoanalyst hat on saying that Zimmerman had a hero complex. That was when I tuned out even though he had several good callers.
