I still think Z could have played it smarter, but I’ve said this from day 1, when all the layers are pealed back what is left is a man defending himself with deadly after being attacked for doing nothing more than walking down a sidewalk.

Everything that happened before or after is irrelevant in the eyes of the law. Z had every right to be on that sidewalk and nothing in the court room suggested otherwise. It therefore foolwed, that Trayvon had no right to attack him.

I’m glad that common sense prevailed because, as I said, Z got in way over his head with some of his decisions.

Also, this is no victory for anyone. Trayvon was probably heading down the wrong path in life, but his dearh was a tragedy. Picking a fight with a stranger was his bad decision. It’s sad all around. very sad.

Missed that comment. The only trial lawyers I’ve known - a couple of DA’s, wouldn’t come right out and say it, but made it pretty obvious they felt railroading was simply a fact of life - like bad weather. They’d prefer it didn’t happen, but if it does for one reason or another, just accept it and move on.

That "devious mind" was Ryan Julison Communications , a PR sleazoid out of Orlando. He and Benjamin Crump have had a working relationship in the past. This was clearly a media trial. They immediately went about convicting Zimmerman because it was the “politically correct” assumption. They encouraged the trial, talked it up, and had Zimmerman convicted before the trial even started. This is the same media that ignore the BO miscues that should be investigated but are not! Shameful.
