McCain is a far greater threat to national security than Snowden is.

Omg. You are soooo right about that. Snowden hasn't harmed anyone. McCain has caused the suffering of millions.

The Republican Party seems content to remain in the minority for the foreseeable future.

Even when they gained the majority in '94 they kept acting like the minority.

Last time I checked, Mc Cain did not hold any leadership position in the Republican Caucus. So, why is he announcing deals between the Majority and Minority?

Because he's a whore.....apologies to less offensive whores.

So when President Bush was trying to get his nominees approved, Senator McCain “compromised” and the Democrats got what they wanted.

Now, President Obama wants to get HIS nominees approved so McCain will again “compromise” and the Democrats will get what they want.

Anybody see a pattern?

McCain is far far worse than Benedict Arnold.

First, Arnold was a more than able, aggressive, fearless and successful military leader. McCain wasn’t. Second, Arnold had the decency and honesty to stand behind his treason and publicly don the uniform of the British. McCain hides in the bushes waiting for opportunity after opportunity to commit treason all the while brandishing the lable “Republican”. Third, Arnold had, at least to a point, valid reasons for being frustrated and angered at the Continentals. McCain was gift wrapped the nomination he craved for so long and screwed it up.

Finally, had Arnold been patient for a few weeks more, he would have accepted the promotion from General Washington he had been begging for and would likely have never committed treason. As it was, by the time Washington met him and personally offered the promotion, Arnold had already committed to the British and asked Washington for Fort Arnold/West point instead, as it was necessary to his deal with the British. McCain got his deal and still he commits treason.

Had Arnold not committed treason, he’d be regarded as one of the great patriots of the Revolutionary War. West Point may very well still be known as Fort Arnold and many towns, high schools and parks would bear his name to this day. No such glory awaits John McCain.

Two federal courts ruled 0bama's NLRB appoints UNCONSTITUTIONAL and 0bama has NOT rescinded his appointments yet, so the R's want to use that as a bargaining chip in the nuclear option? What an EFFING JOKE!!!!.

The GOP has no ability - zero, zip, nada - to negotiate with the opposition. They are the most hapless group of sissified men I have ever seen in public. Cowering under their desks, pandering to the hispanics with only one thing on their mind - to help them keep their job - with no interest in what is right for America or what our Founding Documents say.

Aside from the fact that low-info types think that she’s a character on Saturday Night Live, Sarah Palin’s biggest problem may be that she supported his re-election campaign.

Oh good grief, not that again!

...like she didn’t owe him anything.

If not for McCain we would all be saying “Sarah who?”

But you would rather she be an ungrateful mean spirited witch...which would have really helped her popularity/s

It’s probably the same deal as the last one. A couple of nominees get to go through without the majority leader pulling the trigger.

Indeed, we might have the Benedict Arnold Savings & Loan... just like in that world where the British won the Revolutionary war.
