Carter's broken clock moment. Never thought I'd actually see one.
To: Witch-king of Angmar
Millions upon millions of Americans have been waiting breathlessly for the wisdom of The Sage of Plains.

Beat me to the Stopped Clock moment.

Actually, I’m not so sure about that broken clock. It sounds as if Jimmuh’s saying that if the Prosecution had been smart enough to accuse Zimmerman of DEFENDING himself, he would have been found guilty.

Even when he reaches the right conclusion, he does it with faulty reasoning.

Jimmuh just had to get into the news cycle.
Running counter to the expected norm made sure that he did.

Jimmy must have found out that Zimmerman is NOT Jewish, so its OK to defend him..either way, broken clock moment

It is obvious that aliens landed an UFO at Plains, Ga., kidnapped Carter and replaced his liberal brain with something that worked at least once.

Correction. The prosecution deliberately (not inadvertently) set the bar too high to ensure a not guilty verdict and provide a reason for rage in the streets and gun-grabbing.
"I think eventually, no matter how deep the moral feelings and personal feelings might be among African Americans or others, with time passing they start seeing what can we do about the present and the future and put aside their feelings about the past," Carter said. "I think that's what's gonna happen in our country."
IOW, like Paula Deen, Jimmy has used the n-word in the past. And as an aging Southerner, he can see how far we've come in the last 70 years and he's bone tired of the claim of "400 years of slavery and counting."

A decision so simple, even Jimmy Carter can make it.
