Should House Judiciary probe Holder’s potential civil rights violation?
Seattle Gun Rights Examiner ^ | 19 July, 2013 | Dave Workman

Posted on 07/20/2013 4:40:08 PM PDT by marktwain

As Washington Times senior editor Emily Miller seemed to suggest today, Attorney General Eric Holder has pulled out all the stops to persecute (as opposed to prosecute) exonerated Florida armed citizen George Zimmerman by “stealing” his pistol by putting an investigative hold on all evidence from the Trayvon Martin trial, and holding out the threat – like the proverbial sword of Damocles – that a federal civil rights charge might be forthcoming.

Miller has just finished her soon-to-be released book "Emily Gets Her Gun -- But Barack Obama Wants Yours."

Perhaps the House Judiciary Committee ought to investigate whether Mr. Holder is violating Mr. Zimmerman’s civil rights under the Fourth Amendment, which is supposed to prevent unreasonable searches and seizures. Miller’s column argues that since Zimmerman was found not guilty by a Florida jury, and since an FBI investigation turned up no indication that race played any part of the fatal incident, what else but unreasonable could a move by Holder to prevent the return of Zimmerman’s 9mm Kel Tec pistol be called?

There is no indication Mr. Zimmerman’s carry license has been revoked, an important issue with a growing number of law-abiding citizens – including 437,158 people who hold a Washington concealed pistol license as of this morning, according to the Department of Licensing – because there, but for the grace of God, they might endure a similar experience.

In a sane world, Eric Holder would be out of office and likely in prison. But in a world where the majority of people have the information that they recieve manipulated by the MSM, it is not likely.

...some adult supervision from Chairman Robert Goodlatte (R-VA) and colleague Darrell Issa (R-CA), who chairs the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform – which held the embarrassing hearings on Fast and Furious – might be in order.

Oh, by the way, other than "embarrassing," what are the results of the Fast & Furious conspiracy hearings? Why aren't we hearing anything?

The House Judiciary Committee should have nailed Holder for treason years ago and, following his trial and conviction, Holder should have been maggot food by now.

As it is, the House Judiciary Committee has become an accessory after the fact.

This is a joke, right? Does anyone really believe the Republicans are going to do anything other than talk? I sure don’t.

Why should Holder go to all the trouble of setting up a federal civil rights charge against Zimmerman? Just have Obama say, “”Will no one rid me of this troublesome man?”. Then let the Sharpton posse take care of it. Much simpler.

Lord Zero is hoping some ‘’outraged’’ follower will put a bullet into Zimmerman. Like King Henry II, Zero would like nothing better than to have one of his ‘’drones’’ kill Zimmerman.

I talked with a friend who does the IT work for my congressman’s (who’s on both the House Judiciary and Oversight committees) campaigns. He says the House Oversight committee will be investigating the Justice department if they try to go after George Zimmerman.
