When Barack Obama said that if he had a son, "he'd look like Trayvon," it perhaps didn't say much for him as a parent. And when the president now says that Martin could have been him "35 years ago," it doesn't say much for him as a youth. Of course, we know that Choom Gang Obama smoked marijuana like Martin. I wonder, though, did he miss 53 out of 90 days of school and get suspended 3 times during that period? Was he caught with ladies jewelry, a "burglary tool" and drug paraphernalia in school? Did he enjoy fighting and, when a girlfriend implored him to beat his sword into ploughshares, say that he was going to fight another boy again because "he didn't bleed enough for me"? Most significantly, would Obama have attacked George Zimmerman, broken his nose and pounded his head against the pavement? It seems the president is implying he was a thug...

In fact, the "do as I please without judgment" attitude - reflected in Obama's words - is also something else: offensive. After all, imagine I demanded that women check their brains at the door in deference to men's feelings and not take whatever precautions are prudent when strange men are present. I don't even have the right to ask such a thing. Other people's safety takes precedence over your feelings, Mr. Obama...

I was the only white person at the gas station yesterday morning and the only person approached by a (black) panhandler. I think I was profiled.

If you state that statistic to even a college (and even law school) educated black person, all they will take from it is that white people are 73% of the murderers. The relative sizes of the populations will not matter. I’m not sure if that can be fixed. I tend to think that it cannot.

THESE race baiters have selective outrage. We’re supposed to be mindful of the legacy of slavery andand Jim Crow laws laws. Yet we’re supposed to either ignore the social pathologies of the ghetto, or else say that such pathologies are the result of residual racism.

Even though that is not implied by the first statistic at all. If black men 14-24 are 27% of murderers, the remaining 73% includes black men outside that age range, black women, men and women of other non-white races ... and white men and women.

Thirty-five years ago, Obama was living in Hawaii and going to one of the most exclusive prep schools in the United States. He lived in an upper middle class family— his grandmother was a senior vice-president of Hawaii’s largest bank. Obama had not yet become “black” and still spoke and acted like a “haole” (Caucasian). He didn’t become black until he learned to pretend he was in college and law school.
I’ve had enough conversations over the past ten days to convince me that whatever the first statistic shows, the inverse is all that will be seen, and what it actually shows is irrelevant. Logic, reason, and basic math are all out the window. The same goes for any statistics dealing with welfare. You could point out that the remaining 73% contains all sorts of people, but unless that group is over 50% black, all that will be heard is that whites commit more murders. If it is over 50%, then the statistic is racially biased. Then, after an extended discussion about the remaining 73%, all that will be retained is that 73% are not young, black men (therefore it’s whites). And I’m talking about “educated” people. The few who get it are “Uncle Toms”.
I sware, “Idiocracy” seems less fictional by the day.

Thus he pushes an immigration law, that would make the already excessive unemployment among those he pretends to identify with, even more extreme. Unless you believe that he is an absolute idiot, he understands that as well as any of us.

I can envision the basics of a funny SNL style comedy skit. Have a bunch of young punks walking around with Lone Ranger style masks on their faces, and then complaining that people are unfairly profiling them for wearing a Lone Ranger mask. Have a senator speak on the floor of the Senate wearing a Lone Ranger mask and berate those who would profile him unfavorably for his mask. Lots of possibilities.
A few years ago, our business was subjected to a burglary. Our surveillance camera caught the perps in plain view under the night lights—staring right at the camera with the drawstring on their hoodies pulled up tight to reveal only their noses and a small portion of their face. But I would never suspect someone nosing around my business at night with a hoody pulled up. That just wouldn’t be very nice.
I’d probably go insane dealing with conversations like that. Fortunately, the subject only comes up here in my isolation chamber with a couple of stats-nerd sons. Out in the real world, I talk about diets and stuff ;-).
