Silda Spitzer is privately telling friends she plans to divorce her hooker-loving husband, Eliot Spitzer, Page Six can exclusively reveal.
Multiple sources tell us long-suffering Silda — who, he last night admitted, will not be joining him on the campaign trail — “has had enough” and plans to start divorce proceedings after his run for New York City comptroller is over.
One source tells us, “Silda is telling her female friends that she is done with him. She will file for divorce after the [Nov. 5] election.”
A second source told The Post’s Sally Goldenberg, “Silda is saying she is going to wait until this is all over. She has been telling friends, ‘This is too hard. This is too rough.’ ”
Asked about the divorce rumors, Spitzer spokeswoman Lisa Linden told us last night, “Eliot is running for comptroller on his record and the issues. We will not comment on the barrage of stories about his personal life.”

An honest woman fed up with her husband for philandering or anything else for that matter would not wait until the outcome of an election to divorce her husband. Gold digger - wants more alimony money...
As if his personal life has absolutely no bearing on how he conducts his political life?

What the Hell is wrong with this jerk? She’s beautiful and apparently based on this article, has a pretty good head on her shoulders.
People like this don’t view life through the same prism you or I do, i.e.: what is traditionally right or wrong, with them it’s ALWAYS through the lens of a political calculation.
She is beautiful. He is a wack job. when he was NY Gov, he had a reputation of threatening others, with violence and abuse of his authority to go after them. Spitzer is clearly an evil man. Moreover, compare some photos of the hooker he was caught with and his wife. His wife is gorgeous by comparison (my opinion).
I believe she is the one with the money. Stop stereotyping. These days money is less of an issue in high profile marriages.
She's an attractive woman and can do much better than Spitzer.
