The chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee is calling on San Diego Mayor Bob Filner to resign after four more women said they were targets of his sexual advances.

I don't think the article specifically said what the ‘sexual advances’ were, so I was stating that if the same types of sexual advances were from males (whatever age), would then Schultz be equally as appalled and call for his resignation?

I'm guessing not for fear of shedding a bad light on homosexuality, and homosexuals are also a protected class, both legally and through political correctness.

It has taken awhile for the Dems to get around to telling Filner to quit. If he had been a Republican, they would have demanded his head on Day One. It’s fun to read the posts for San Diego’s local newspaper online, watching some of the local Dems remain in self righteous denial for their candidate. I must say I was surprised, however, to see left wing publicity hound, Gloria Allred grab the microphone and pile on Filner for one of the accusers. I guess the money must have been just too good to pass on joining the dogpile.

Boorish behavior by white males who happen to be liberal Democrats is considered to be a resume enhancement. DWS has better a little careful of what behavior she may be calling for to be stopped, as this is starting to hit a little close to home for the majority of the (sort of) heterosexual males who consider themselves liberal card-carrying Democrats. Of course, this particular demographic is something of a minority within the Democrat tent, as the numbers of non-whites, females and gay males greatly exceed the numbers of (sort of) heterosexual males.

Not politically reliable anyway. Everybody knows this is the first demographic that flees to the establishment branch of the Republican party.

Local news yesterday showed Filner leaving the Concourse building in San Diego; he was headed to a waiting SUV. Reporters asked him questions which he arrogantly ignored. Then Filner started to run toward the SUV. That was when one reporter yelled at him asking why he was running and why he was not fulfilling his promise to have an open, transparent government. He was asked why was he running from the questions for which the people of San Diego deserve answers. It was comical. Filner came across as an arrogant coward. The local media is all over this and it is getting real ugly. But it is interesting to watch. :-)
