MOSCOW, July 29 (RIA Novosti) – Police have rounded up 300 people to be “checked for complicity in crimes and offenses,” at markets around Moscow after an officer’s skull was bashed in while he attempted to detain a suspected sex offender, the city’s police department said Monday. “The raids are continuing,” the department said, “to de-criminalize Moscow marketplaces on instructions from police chief Anatoly Yakunin.” On Saturday, a team of officers was attacked by a crowd of 20 to 25 people at the Matveyevsky food market in western Moscow as they were detaining a man suspected of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl. One of the officers’ skulls was bashed in, reportedly by a punch with brass knuckles. That officer was set to undergo brain surgery the next day. The incident was captured on film, and the video will serve as the main evidence in a criminal investigation, federal Investigative Committee spokesman Vladimir Markin said Monday. “Investigators are carefully studying the video footage, which explicitly shows the events and also all persons involved.”

The suspected sex offender has confessed to forcibly undressing the teenage girl, but has claimed he did not rape her because he “lost the desire” to do so, the investigative spokesman said, adding that a court on Monday would be requested to prolong the suspect’s incarceration before trial. The suspect’s wife, accused of punching and kicking police as her husband was being detained, was also taken into custody. Police are still trying to identify the person who smashed the officer’s skull. That perpetrator faces life in prison, Markin said.

The Russians are detaining Moslems, who continue to present a threat to Russia. The Moslem molesting the 15 year old girl brings to mind the sick rapes perpetrated by the Moslem terrorists upon the Beslan school children before they were mercilessly slaughtered.

I applaud the Russians for putting the Moslem savages on notice with a heavy crackdown.

Damn I get tears in my eyes to read that and realise that the leader of Russia can and wants to say that, while we can't get one leader out of the thousands who hold some elective office in the US to even look like they would think such a "thought crime".

I'm not naive and starry-eyed about Putin or Russia, but at least they have the fundamentals right. You can't go ahead with anything when your whole foundation is a lie or the truth can't be spoken, as is the case here, now, in the US. Sure, they can't talk about Putin without getting into trouble, but is that much different from the case here, where nothing critical of Obozo or the left will ever get through any mainstream media (including the ones on the so-called right) and your life can be destroyed if anyone finds out that you harbor thoughts which stray from the narrative on topics which need truth, before anything fruitful can be done? In fact a typical Russian response is a collective punishment of the entire group: If they have a crime problem within a certain ethnic group and said group is not about to cooperate with authorities they are rounding everyone belongs to it, packing tightly into a cargo transports like cattle for rapid deportation. Still an improvement comparing to Soviet era when they could land the entire nationality to the middle of the desert or Siberian tundra.

I was just going to inquire as to the “faith” proclivities of the molester and his protective mob... but now I don’t have to.

The victim was probably a Christian and made the mistake of showing a cross, rosary, or some other indication of her beliefs - barbarians love to rape and torture them.

Mob attacks are typical responses to police intervention in no go enclaves. Glad to see the Ruskies are not putting up with it. They know how to deal with the ROP and aren’t afraid to do what needs to be done.
