Well, Charlee, there was a time when much of Conservative America was completely open to the concept of being judged by the content of one's character rather than the color of one's skin. Unfortunately, there is a breed of hustler out there who blames all the failures of his/her culture on other cultures, who increasingly demands more of the fruits of Americans' labors to subsidize a paradigm that was not only doomed to failure, but has become an intrenched cultural disaster. That same breed of hustler kept pushing 'getting over' instead of getting better, exhorted his people to take a handout instead of a hand up, and gleefully supplied the excuse that 'the man is holding you down!' when no one was trying to get up.

All for personal gain, power, and prestige within the very communities they duped with their bullsh*t.

The 60s were legitimately about attacking real racism.....denial of rights solely because of skin color.

And it was 50 years ago. Most of the people who were opposing the civil rights movement back then are dead. The "white guilt" well is running dry. They got everything they asked for, and they pissed it away.
