Unknown Republican Blocks Bill That Will Require Search Warrant Before Police Access Emails

An unknown Republican Senator is blocking a bill that will require police to obtain a search warrant before accessing emails and online messages. The Hill reported:

An anonymous Republican senator has delayed a vote on legislation that would require police to obtain a warrant before accessing emails and other online messages.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) pushed for a vote on the bill before Congress left for its August recess. He secured unanimous support from Democrats, but at least one Republican objected to the bill, according to a Democratic Senate aide.

Leahy had hoped to fast-track the bill to passage with unanimous support, but the opposition means a vote will be delayed until at least September.

Yeah, unanimous Democratic support makes it very suspect.

My guess-estimate is one that our founding fathers such as George Washington and Jefferson would call the fxxxgxxxt traitor from SC who puts America, Americans and our Constitution last on his peckxxg order.

Even those who voted for him do not deserve what they get.

The single most important function of our elected officials is defending our rights and Constitution.

If this is a Leaky Leahy bill, there is, probably, a catch that exempts communists.

You obviously listen to right-wing radio, read extremist blogs and are probably near to if not associated with the KKK Tea Party. Everyone knows this.

Why does Arizona keep sending this dirtbag to the senate?

Cause he colludes with the appeasers in the state party to keep the primaries open, and it STILL costs him $20 a vote to win the primary, conservative money which, I might add, was given to him to defeat The Won. He SHOULD be in jail for fraud.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that after he buys the primary with mis-donated conservative money, the Democrats throw the general by running a token candidate. I think his "opponent" in '10 was the ex-mayor of Tucson or some such pathetic excuse for a candidate.
