Words fail me. God save us from meddling "experts." Just too creepy.

When my kids were 8 and 10 I wouldn’t allow their friends to stay over. I was a single father and I had no idea what was going on in those kids’ homes.

IMO these recommmdations seem to reflect a religious right slant or bias, rather than coming from nanny staters. Either way, they are creepy.

Just make sure it’s not above a pet store with boa constrictors, and you will be fine.

I just don't live on that planet, the Planet "parenting expert."
Creepy is right.

Sleepovers? Hmmm, let’s take a look at what is being taught at school, 40 hrs a week.
To: Maceman
My wife and I have recently decided to ban sleepovers for any kids our family doesn’t know intimately. The reason? Bedbugs and roaches.
My middle son recently wanted to invite a playmate to sleep over at our house, but I got a report from my daughter that the kid’s house was literally crawling with roaches.
That was all I needed to hear. It got my wife and I to thinking about potential infestations coming in through the front door. We decided, better safe than sorry.

Did the list include deadly Pythons escaping from the pet shop underneath your bedroom?
