There was the tale of Oprah going into her doctor’s office and he asked her to completely disrobe. She had a sinus infection so she was a little puzzled by his request but complied. The dr asked her to get on all fours at one end of the room, looked at her and then asked her to move to the other end of the room and again, get on all fours. Then he asked her to go in the corner at an angle and get on all fours. She did and he looked at her thoughtfully and then told her to get up and put her clothes back on. She did and asked about what he thought. He said, “Oh, you have a sinus infection all right.” She was curious why he had her move all over the room and asked if that was a new test to determine if she had a sinus infection. He said, “No, I ordered a new brown leather couch and I wanted to see where it would look the best.”
True. I remember when she was pushing this guy in 2008. At the time, I thought, well, how nice, she's advocating a well-spoken partially black guy with no experience who happens to be from Chicago.
At no time did I EVER think he had any chance whatsoever.
But I've never gone broke underestimating the stupidity of the American people, the awesome power of white liberal guilt, and the absolute non-negotiable racism of black-Americans.
