On Monday, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told the American Bar Association annual meeting in San Francisco that she would be launching a series of speeches about American foreign policy in the “next few months.” According to Philip Rucker, White House correspondent for The Washington Post, Hillary planned to emphasize restoring faith in government – an ironic theme, considering that she was a member of the current administration presiding over the rapid decline in faith in government.

It’s impossible for Democratic speakers like Hillary Clinton to energize Democratic crowds except by attacking people.

But whom can Hillary attack? Since she’s not black, she can’t attack people for being racists like Obama does. She can’t attack Republicans for her foreign-policy fiascos since she had full control of the State Department when she was SOS. She can’t criticize Obama in the slightest way, even if his approval numbers continue to collapse, or she’ll lose the black vote.
Hillary’s famous Listening Tour when she first ran for Senator from New York was not successful, since her husband who was still president at the time had to free Puerto Rican prisoners and bribe an entire Orthodox Jewish community to put her over the top. Without such help, which is unavailable now, it’s unlikely a Presidential Listening Tour will bear much fruit.
So, what’s left but dull policy speeches? But if Hillary takes that boring route, the media will have no choice but to focus on her clothes and appearance. ‘’Did she have a facelift or didn’t she?’’ Can America endure the next three years, at least, of increasingly less pleasant Hillary faces on National Enquirer covers week after week staring at them from supermarket counters?

My ex-roommate who is a top neurologist told me the brain injury she suffered, at her age, will have repercussions in the years to come, greatly increasing her risk of dementia, along with vision blurring, recurring migraines and disorientation.
