Anyway, Putin’s helping Egypt now and el-Sisi won’t take 0bastard’s call, so US influence is over, anyway. The Egyptians know full well that 0bastard’s been supporting the Mozlem Brotherhood and the MB has a very narrow small support in Egypt.

The GOP may be able to reconcile itself to a Rand Paul, sacrificing its national security plank to keep its socially liberal values and free trade core intact, but not to a Ted Cruz who represents something far closer to its populist base.
