Paglia: "It remains baffling how anyone would think that Hillary Clinton is our party’s best chance"

Full Title: Camille Paglia: “It remains baffling how anyone would think that Hillary Clinton is our party’s best chance”:

"As a registered Democrat, I am praying for a credible presidential candidate to emerge from the younger tier of politicians in their late 40s. A governor with executive experience would be ideal. It’s time to put my baby-boom generation out to pasture! We’ve had our day and managed to muck up a hell of a lot. It remains baffling how anyone would think that Hillary Clinton (born the same year as me) is our party’s best chance."

"She has more sooty baggage than a 90-car freight train. And what exactly has she ever accomplished — beyond bullishly covering for her philandering husband? She’s certainly busy, busy and ever on the move — with the tunnel-vision workaholism of someone trying to blot out uncomfortable private thoughts."

"I for one think it was a very big deal that our ambassador was murdered in Benghazi. In saying “I take responsibility” for it as secretary of state, Hillary should have resigned immediately. The weak response by the Obama administration to that tragedy has given a huge opening to Republicans in the next presidential election. The impression has been amply given that Benghazi was treated as a public relations matter to massage rather than as the major and outrageous attack on the U.S. that it was."

"Throughout history, ambassadors have always been symbolic incarnations of the sovereignty of their nations and the dignity of their leaders. It’s even a key motif in “King Lear.” As far as I’m concerned, Hillary disqualified herself for the presidency in that fist-pounding moment at a congressional hearing when she said, “What difference does it make what we knew and when we knew it, Senator?”

I don't agree with everything she Believes in but when she nails it, she nails it big time! Succinctly!

It remains baffling how the GOP once thought the Bushes, McCain and then Romney were our best candidates!

Republicans should ask politely for a Hillary Clinton 2016 Candidacy with a smirk. Get ‘em guessing.

Not the slightest bit baffling, Camille.

All we need do is realize that the Democratic Party’s real intention is to b*gger the United States as badly as possible, and, voila!, Hillary Clinton explained.

I like here comments on the feminist movement killing itself as well - they politicized it by only attacking conservative and letting dem’s have a pass on their attack on women.

Camille Paglia is one of my favorite liberals. Not only is she capable of original thought, she’s funny too. A sense of humor and original thought are two qualities sorely lacking in modern liberals.

I agree with a few things Camille Paglia says and I think that she’s out to lunch on a lot of the rest. But she does appear to try to bring some kind of moral perspective (even if it’s often rather skewed) towards both art and contemporary events, and she’s a good writer.

I personally think the Hillary moment came and went quite some time ago. She was a weak and almost ridiculous SOS, she had never held any elected office until she carpet-bagged her way into NY, and her performance has been extremely undistinguished in any position she has occupied. She also has a grating and unpleasant public persona.

I don’t know why the GOP is so afraid of her as the Dem nominee. First of all, she’s not going to be the Dem nominee, because even the Dems realize that she’s done; secondly, she’d lose disastrously.

The Dems are going to have to run another black person. Frankly, I think Michelle is waiting in the wings.

Her epic FAILURES:

1) Russian 'reset' ('Reset' button translated to 'OVERLOADED/OVERCHARGED' instead of 'RESET')

2) Benghazi (She's responsible for the security vulnerability that caused the death of four Americans)

3) Egypt (Supporting pro-Sharia Morsi & Muslim Brotherhood AGAINST American interests, Israel and Egyptian popular opinion)

Well, what does she propose? You can’t beat somebody with nobody. Who are the prominent Democrat senators and governors who could win the nomination? The only one I can think of is Andrew Cuomo, who may well get traction.

As a registered Democrat...

Camille's problem is she wants to pose as a fundamentally decent human being after signing on with the party of tyranny. She's as dirty as any member of the German National Socialist Party, but needs to believe she's different.

The day of reckoning is on its way. It's not going to be a joyful day.

Oh dammit, Camille! Come on! At this point ... What difference does it make?!

Stevens, Doherty, Woods and Smith would ALL be alive today had Hillary ordered Stevens to NOT BE IN BENGHAZI on 9/11, AND if she would've honored Stevens request for additional security rather than reject his requests.

Yes, 0bama's handling of Benghazi was criminal, but it's HILLARY who set Americans up to be slaughtered there.
