That's not fair. A lot of parents only have one dog and some don't have any dog when their kids go off to college.
You need a Lonely College Parent Canine Greeter Act of 2013, (LCPCGA) which provides sufficient funds for all college parents to purchase one or two damn expensive exotic dogs and purchase food for the full time their students are away from home. Estimated start-up cost is about $275 billion dollars.
geez.....we have 2 girls a few years ahead of those 2. We are BLESSED BEYOND BELIEF that we have them and still have them in their teenage years and beyond. They are both in college....and we are thanking God every single day for His blessings.

He and Bo go around the White House sniffing lamps, table legs, chairs legs, etc. When they find something they like, they pee on it and move on to the next target.

Michelle follows them around with plastic bags to clean up the poop. She uses them like deodorizers to make the living quarters smell better than barack makes it smell.
The crap also attract flies so he can have plenty of them to land on his face and walk around while he is talking to people. He especially likes the way they tickle when they walk on his purple lips. Reminds him of something Reggie used to do.
He’s been trying to make Bo gay so he wouldn’t mess with the female, other than doing her nails and fixing up her fur. He, Bo, and Reggie will be having a get together in a few weeks!
