A liberal has never been able to articulate how more government regulations can improve the opportunities of the private sector. Any program they put forth has the consequences of limiting growth in another sector.

I’m 62 years old. I think it was 50 years ago when I first became aware that government was going to cure joblessness, homelessness, inequality, etc. By any measure, government has cocked everything up. Yet people still want to believe “if only we spent more...” Like leopards, socialists and communists never change their spots.

One day, just as we have with Hitler and his obvious goals that seemed innocuous at the time, historians will say “HOW DID THEY NOT SEE HE WAS A COMMUNIST?”

And if, in fact, people start thinking the government’s the problem instead of the solution, then what that leaves you is whatever the marketplace does on its own. And what we’ve seen is a marketplace that increasingly produces very unequal results.
There is a problem with this? That is how it should work; however, unequal results do not mean poor results. More people will benefit from a free market than any other system. They will not all benefit equally, but they will eventually be free of the type of grinding, generational poverty wrought by the central planners.

We are governed by a true Idiocracy now

Did you see the movie? It was made as a satire. It came out before the Obama administration. Now, it looks like a documentary.

There is an argument that was made in 1964, 1965 on through the ’80s and ’90s in which those who resisted any change in the status quo, particularly when it came to economic opportunity, made two big arguments.

Who writes this crap? An incoherent lead paragraph is not much of an inducement to read the rest of the article. If someone can't compose a sentence, how valuable could their analysis be?

But I get a cell phone, meals, housing, and free daycare as just a start! What could be wrong with government?

Obama is campaigning for Hillary and her “Third Way”, a unity of govt and business acting as one.

They don't want to tell everyone the unity of govt and business acting as one is National Socialism, Nazism, so they will use the cutesy phrase “The Third Way”.

Okay mr. phony Harvard 'smartest guy in the room' fake ...

Compare and contrast the comprehensive "health and wellness" (financial, physical, mental, spiritual, hopeful, unity, safety, responsibility, opportunity ...) of middle class and Black community families today, with their "health and wellness" as a family back in the 1960's ... before BIG government elites intervened, robbing them of their individual dignity, forcing government programs upon them, which has forever trapped them in an evil and vicious cycle of dependency on "massah government's" plantation.

"Efforts by government to help folks" is not only bad for the economy but it is bad for the "folks" themselves and their progeny. Since the government started helping folks school dropout rates have soared and bastardy rates have become astronomical.

After $1 trillion "helping folks" there are more folks than ever who need help. For everyone "helped" how many more folks were created?

We are governed by a true idiocracy now.

A couple of days ago I learned a longer word for idocracy: "Kakistocracy." It means "the government of a nation by its worst citizens".

We now have a kleptocratic kakistocracy. It really trips off the tongue, doesn't it?

I put his first two paragraphs through a Gibberish Generator.

I can see utterly no difference:

Before

There is an argument that was made in 1964, 1965 on through the ’80s and ’90s in which those who resisted any change in the status quo, particularly when it came to economic opportunity, made two big arguments. Argument number one was, any efforts by government to help folks who were locked out of opportunity, whether it was minorities or the poor generally, unions, any effort by government to help those folks is bad for the economy. And that became a major argument. And if, in fact, people start thinking the government’s the problem instead of the solution, then what that leaves you is whatever the marketplace does on its own. And what we’ve seen is a marketplace that increasingly produces very unequal results. And it – so it – it disempowers our capacity for common action to do something about poverty, to do something to help middle-class families.

After

And it – so it - it disempowers our unions for common capacity to do poverty the produce instead of the increasing government, made two big argument number one was, any efforts by government’s the government that became to economic opportunity, whether it was minorities or the ’80s and ’90s in which those folks who resisted any government to help middle-class efforts by families. If, in fact, people status quo, particularly when it came to economy, there is a marketplace that leaves you is what was made two big governments. People start thinking the marketplace owns on its poor. The poor generally, unions, any efforts by government’s the poor marketplace, minorities. Any efforts by government number one was, any effort by government’s the solution, then whatever the government to help locked folks who of opportunity, whether it was minorities or the marketplace that increasingly unequal very government.

I need my morning coffee. At first glance my thought was that the person who wrote this should find a different job, and then I realized it was Obama talking.
