Good guy.
I believe he has raised funds to help injured soldiers through many benefits and guest appearances.
He worked in lots of good words for the military on “CSI-NY”. I think he might be a decent guy despite being an actor!
Well, you go tooooo far:-) We have so called “ conservatives” that is WAY worst then any liberals. Mr. Sinise is very involved in helping Veterans.

Laz, c'mon. 1. Whether or not he's a "good guy" or a liberal, he supports the troops, BIG TIME.
2. Have we fallen so far here on FR that we have joined the MSM in labeling everyone, and if their politics don't match ours, do we discount everything they do?
I have noticed lately here that there's an awful lot of "well, she believes such n such" or he supports "this n that" so they must be bad guys."
Discernment is our friend. If I lived next to you and was afraid of guns, would you not help push me out of the drive during the next snow storm? Would you turn away a fresh apple pie, cos I had extra, from me? (btw, I'm a gun-totin, conservative Catholic who hates the clown in chief, I believe in Purgatory and Hell, and I think the public schools should be closed down. Got a problem with any of that? Oh, and I sometimes forget to wear RED on Fridays.)
Regardless of his politics... which I believe he doesn’t degrade himself to that level... he sticks with acting and his band, Gary Sinise is a great American.
I am glad that someone posted this... he does good things for vets and this honor is appropriate.

As others have noted, he’s a great guy. He also does many, many personal and private actions for families of the fallen.
Real good guy, supports the troops and raises money for disabled vets.
Can say enough good things about him.
