Was served pigeon soup in a San Fran Chinese restaurant. They were proud of it. Couldn’t speak a lick of English. They took me outside to point to a pigeon on a wire so I understood what I was eating.

The French actually consume quite a bit of horsemeat. I would be surprised if any frozen meat product from France did NOT contain some.
