When I saw it, she was standing to his left while he was smiling and shaking hands with his defense team. She stood there rather stoic.

I think it was all pretty fleeting, and I'm sure most of us were watching Zimmerman and the lawyers. I found a lot of pictures on Google but this site has a few good ones;

She did seem to be more reserved than a lot of people. I have an idea they were having marriage troubles even then.

Definitely. That site did show a different side of her. When I saw it on TV, they were all facing the judge and much more reserved. I just remember thinking it was odd.

It's like they say: "no matter how bad life has been for you, you can always serve as a bad example".

My life should be taught as a college course on "what not to do 101".

Nonetheless, my exs have certainly lived well on alimony, portions extorted from my military retirement, and social security divisions.
