The Holy Mother, Mary, saint and mother of the Church. Anybody can choose any day on which to celebrate their birthday — even you.

mine didn’t come here illegally. they were screened pretty damn hard at ellis island. no disease, had a plan as to what they were going to do, showed they were going to be working, had some money.

you do realize it’s the ones coming here illegally, violating our laws, that we have the problem with? not the legal ones that respect the laws, however dumb you may think they are.

if you don’t like the current laws and think they are so unfair and unjust, i would concede to the illegals and use mexico’s immigration and property laws as they pertain to foreigners.

Yet another who seems not to see the difference between legal and illegal immigration I see. Either we have laws that let us determine who comes here and how or we don’t. There can be no middle ground. If you favor us not having such laws or to ignore them at your pleasure when you see some benefit from doing so then we cease being a nation of laws,a nation with borders, and a nation period.

Spot on. I do not recall, but if I had to bet, I would wager that the Bishops were all in with Obama imposing the Dream Act by Executive Order - an act of lawlessness if ever was one.

Teachers’ tent city drives people away from Mexico City cathedral
The protests have put local church officials in a difficult place. Father Valdemar said the archdiocese preferred not to give an opinion, partly out of concern that the comments could negatively impact the cathedral.

Back in America they have no problems making demands for Immigration Reform and to express opinions without
concern that the comments could negatively impact the cathedral.

And I suppose your ancestors were born here and there are no immigrants, whatsoever in your family????

That's right.

You know that just because your European headquartered church denomination pushes illegal and mass immigration to destroy the United States, does no mean that you have to keep pushing illegal immigration, so that they can vote for the pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage democrats.

Do you share our conservative politics?

You don't think that creating a permanent radical liberal majority (Democrat) will result in unfettered abortion policy down the road? Seriously?

All Salvation cares about is that those pro-abortion democrats be Catholics, their membership in her church trumps all.

What a slap in the face of the millions of Catholics that immigrated to America and DID NOT BREAK THE LAW, and simply followed the immigration policies in place......

...And you can take you animosity toward the Blessed mother to your pastor or to a priest for clarification or tho the father of lies if you wish, but it won’t do you any good here...

Thanks for posting this so I didn’t have to. May the Saints in heaven (especially or Lady) bless you.

The Obama Administration won’t secure our border with Mexico and doesn’t want to deport the illegals who are already in this country.

But recently Obama and his people have expressed interest in securing the southern border—Mexico’s southern border, that is:

Obama administration and Mexican government officials recently discussed creating a three-tier security system designed to protect Mexico’s southern border from drug and human traffickers, according to U.S. officials.

Obama Administration Considers Plan to Bolster Mexico’s Southern Border by Bill Gertz, Washington Free Beacon, August 22, 2013

Oh, and they want to do it with your money! ........ More at the link.

I’m not in favor of the illegals. People coming into the U. S. need to become naturalized citizens and be leagal.

You take the democrat position on importing these millions of pro-abortion democrat voters.

You also tell the same lie the pro-abortion democrat left does, about us all being immigrants.

The church is the people. I don’t think we are in favor of the illegals.
