Tea Party Increasingly Unhappy with GOP Leadership
people-press.org ^ | Sept 11, 2013

Posted on 09/11/2013 11:55:53 AM PDT by Jim Robinson

As lawmakers return for what promises to be a busy fall session, GOP congressional leaders face mounting disapproval among Tea Party Republicans. Just 27% of Republicans and GOP leaners who agree with the Tea Party approve of the job Republican leaders in Congress are doing, compared with 71% who disapprove.

The job rating of GOP leaders among Tea Party Republicans has fallen 15 points since February, from 42% to 27%. Disapproval has risen from 54% to 71% over this period. There has been no similar decline among Republicans who do not agree with the Tea Party. Currently, 42% of non-Tea Party Republicans and Republican leaners approve of how GOP leaders in Congress are handling their job, which is little changed over the past year.

This internal dissent contributes to the lower job ratings Republican leaders receive from the public when compared with Democratic congressional leaders. The latest national survey by the Pew Research Center, conducted Sept. 4-8 among 1,506 adults, finds that just 24% of the public approves of Republican leaders’ job performance, while somewhat more (33%) approve of the job of Democratic congressional leaders.

“Tea Party Increasingly Unhappy with GOP Leadership”

More correctly, they should be referred to as the “GOP Followership”

It seems as if “conservatives” get elected, spend one night in DC and get replaced with those alien pod people. Is there such a thing as a “conservative” who won’t compromise or become a “centrist?” A centrist is a progressive-lite; the same socialist taste, but 25% less filling.

If you’re going to rebel, you must rebel for a foundation, not just against someone.

We need to reinstate our Constitution.

No if’s or exceptions.

Forget the GOP

The GOP supports ObamaCARE:
THEY SAY: RomneyCARE/ObamaCARE FOR EVERYONE
(except the Congress, the pREs_ _ent,
their families, their Staff,
and a certain select, protected, religion)

The GOP supports Criminal illegals:
THEY SAY: Open Borders for illegals
with optional weapons from Holder.
They have ignored Fast&Furious.

The GOP supports the NSA/IRS collection of
medical information and LOVEint (called ‘transparency’)
THEY SAY: Ignore the NSA/IRS atrocities
(except for the Congress, the pREs_ _ent,
their families, their Staff,
and a certain select, protected, religion)

The GOP supports al Qaeda.
The GOP with McCain and Graham helped al Qaeda in Egypt,
helped transfer (and then coverup) MANPAD trans
to alQaeda in Libya, and still supports al Qaeda
in Syria.
THEY SAY: Ignore the growing terrorist atrocities
in America and everywhere else with US taxpayer money.

==> It is time for America to dump the GOP
which is an evil twin of the DNC and which also
supports terrorism, atrocities, slavery, and statism
without a hint of accountability or truth.

Where is rebellion brewing?

Despite the happy occasional news from Colorado, etc., America is drifting leftward and will vote increasingly for socialists, progressives, and the like.

As long as the Associated Press, Reuters, the big three networks, and their and similar wire services remain standing, our side has no chance. We are doomed as long as the AP has a presence in thousands of local newspapers, thousands of local radio news outlets, and on the popular internet casual news sites.

What the RINOs really need is more of Karl Rove and Pee Wee Herman-Rance Priebus out telling Conservatives how stupid we are, while their heros (McLoser, Linda Graham, John Boner)in Congress are bending over servicing the Demorats. See it’s all about messaging. /s

They pass Scamnasty this fall and ALL Congressional seats are in play! One thing I think Most all thinking Americans will agree is that you don’t open the flood gates for freeloaders and low skilled workers when Unemployment is double digits and the Government is broke and ObamaKare is about to bankrupt the working class.

Until there is some organized effort by a third group to get people in the primaries and win seats en masse, and especially removing those currently in leadership, sending a couple here and there isn’t going to help much. Let’s face it, the leadership controls the congressional caucuses and they decide the agenda.

If there’s a goal the Tea Party should shoot for and organize around, that should be it. It does require though, alot of people getting off their lazy asses and working very hard to make it happen.

You do not need to form a third party. It is actually fairly easy to take over the GOP, but it’s got to be along the Gingrich model of state by state.

I grew up in Az. A Barry Goldwater conservative, read all his books, he was so moral that he told Nixon to resign. Wm F. Buckley Jr. Read all his books, Read Ayn Rand, just disagreed with her when it came to her perspective on “God”. Buckley said that she made man the center of a “godless universe”. I agree with Buckley on that.

My dad thought Cronkite was a communist sympathizer back then.
he fought in WWII. To save the world from people like Obama.

I watched my father throw things against the tv because of the liberal slant back 50 years ago. My dad was correct.

Thanks for your support. But hopefully we will see a tea party rebellion at the ballot box in 2014. Retake the senate! Build on the majority in the house! Elect as many tea party candidates throughout the nation as is humanly possible. Throw out as many bums as possible!!

Pass the word. Turn out the vote!!

There is NO GOP leadership.

And thanks to that ‘leadership,’ there will very soon be no GOP.

Then perhaps the one or two remaining GOP trolls can be “not thrilled” with the dominant Tea Partiers.

FUGOP

FU with a shovel.

Go away and die.

RINOs first.
