I dunno. I am heartened by Russia's stand against homosexuality, by its flat tax, and so on. But remember Hitler purged homosexuals, and Hitler "celebrated" the family, all the while laying plans for the total destruction of German Christianity.

Instead of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend," in this case the enemy of my enemy is still my enemy, just as my other enemy is. The Jews once said of the White Paper, "We will fight the White Paper as if there were no Hitler, and we will fight Hitler as though there were no White Paper."

Scathing commentaries that many will find delightful. But it reminds me of a picture I have seen, our national symbol, the bald eagle, is crying.

“....Assad scathingly called Obama not a president but the head of a social media network.”

Wow. Truth hurts doesn’t it. I think of the term I first heard in college in the early 70s, “FUBAR” sums up this presidency.

Not surprising since the Fish and Wildlife agency is offering “take permits” to utilities that kill them.

C’mon people.

Any way that exposes 0bama for
the L0ser that he is is a good

Putin displayed a disturbing cogency and enviable competence that stood in stark contrast to the awkward pirouettes performed by the man formerly known as the Lightworker.

I spit on the illegal, illegitimate fraud who calls himself "president". Him, and all of the sycophants and POS voters who forced him on the rest of us!

On the court these guys, Obama and Putin, look just a little territorial, but off the court (and in practice) they are ideological soul mates.

How comforting is that? Worst case scenario and carried through to an extreme, what if this argument between these two soul mates is all faux and show, and the US is being set up by them for that crisis many have feared is coming, as a final blow of sorts to our liberty and to capitalism?

These two are not our friends. What are the odds that posing this question is too conspiratorial?

Obama must resign.

Unfortunately there isn’t a single intelligent, trustworthy person with even a lick of sense in the line of succession...

Yet however one may admire Putin’s skills, it must be an admiration tempered by fear, of the kind felt by the British 8th Army in the face of Rommel...

It's not Putin that I fear.

It's what a disgraced and ridiculed narcissist like Obama will do to lash out in revenge, that I fear.

What’s left in the White House is Barry Soetoro or whatever he goes by now: a shrunken, confused husk surrounded by court jesters, second-rate ideologues, and sycophants.

Confused husk, empty suit, same/same. That's all that has been there since the get-go. It is appalling that so many people have had the wool of political correctness pulled over their eyes.

They may be ideological soul mates. To some extent, all rulers of countries have common ground with their counterparts. It takes a special skill set to get to the top like that. But they still have competing interests.

Compare George W. Bush and Putin. They had competing interests, but also common ground. Each was a competent leader, and each respected the other. Contrast that with 0bama and Putin. Right now Putin must be doing his Bugs Bunny impression saying “It can’t be this easy” as Mugsy and Knuckles try to stuff themselves in the oven. 0bama is so incompetent, he earns no respect but only contempt.

He’s playing a serious high-stakes game with some gifted opponents, and he’s playing very badly. And none of this is a surprise to all of us here.

But to get to your point, I don’t think 0bama is in the tank for Putin on some grand conspiracy here. I think he is just naive about what real players in the international world are all about.

We will never hear Obama say something like this.

"......when we ask for the Lord's blessings, we must not forget that God created us equal," Putin said.......

Whereas we previously had an inflated, confused husk surrounded by court jesters, second-rate ideologues, and sycophants.

I believe you are exactly correct given what has been played out in plain sight so far, and you couldn’t have said it better. I agree with you - no ifs, ands or buts. Obama is skunked by Putin.

As Scarlett said, “I won’t think about it today - I’ll think about it tomorrow. After all, tomorrow IS a new day!”

Thank you for the climb down assist. %:D
