WASHINGTON (AP) — D.C. police and the FBI say there's a report of a shooter inside a military building at the Washington Navy Yard.
Police are responding to reports of shots fired, and an FBI spokeswoman says there's at least one victim.

D.C. NBC 4 reporting TWO shooters, one of them having been confronted/cornered by police.
Also reporting 10 or 12 victims. One dead. Four dead. One policeman. Two policeman. From separate sources.

That was a direct quote from a witness. Two rounds went into the air.
Fox News idiot reporterette (Jennifer ?) saying AR-15 is like M-16, firing 3-shot bursts. Phew!
I wonder how anxious the Administration will be to tie this to Assad and give them a Casus Belli.
I think I have to take my AR15 back to the gun shop. Mine only shoots one at a time.

Did some contract work at a base recently. The front gate was guarded by heavily armed private security. Crash barriers were in place. Bomb inspections of cars without passes.
Meanwhile, there were no arms visible on the base, and the base perimeter was protected by a chain link fence. Can’t imagine how a chain link fence could be defeated.
There is so much talk about the weapons. This is an attack on the military. That should be their headline.

Shooter shot toward them. All were inside of a building. Fire alarm was sounding to evacuate the building.

More importantly, BLACK eye-witnesses describe shooter as “tall black guy”....so it’s OK.
First woman said “it looked like he was dark skinned”, but then the black FNC reporter asked if it was a black guy and both witnesses said yes, a tall black guy.
Obviously not something anyone would want to speculate about...like the the kind of gun used, etc, boy it’d be bad if the reporterette speculated about that....
