WASHINGTON (AP) — D.C. police and the FBI say there's a report of a shooter inside a military building at the Washington Navy Yard.
Police are responding to reports of shots fired, and an FBI spokeswoman says there's at least one victim.

Probably this crowd picked up my tweet re: misinformation earlier, (AR-15, simply stated, they should get an expert re: gun knowledge, not nasty, being uber ‘helpful’ in wording... I wouldn’t want them to look bad yada, yada). Of course I didn’t offer what’s actually issued (so they could push those).

At 11:57 AM Eastern I believe I was the first on FR to predict there was only one shooter. Now they're talking about two more, even describing them.
I had this "one shooter" feeling because the Fort Hood shooting came instantly to my mind....lone terrorist employee or fired employee already inside a military compound sounded more likely to me than a group of shooters coming from outside..
We'll see if my intuition was correct.

Agreed: the timing of this right after the gun grabbing dems lost big in CO is just too much to take as coincidence - especially when they were complaining their gun-ban efforts were being “chilled” by what the voters in CO did.

We'll see if my intuition was correct. I'm going with the one shooter theory as well. It's so easy to have conflicting eyewitness reports... it'll take time to sort it all out. I think it's just another sudden Jihad Syndrome situation (aka Amish person).
