On Monday's CBS This Morning, Sharyl Attkisson pointed out the "potential conflict of interest" in the ongoing controversy over the Islamist attack on the U.S. compound in Benghazi, Libya. Attkisson detailed how congressional Republican are scrutinizing Undersecretary of State Patrick Kennedy's involvement in naming staff to the Accountability Review Board, even as it was investigating his role in the lead-up to the September 11, 2012 attack [MP3 audio available here; video below].

If not legally, aka obama was morally duty-bound not to leave those four Americans in the lurch. He (or his string-pulling puppeteer, Jarrett of the face of bat), actively denied their rescue attempt, which was already automatically immediately underway. This flouts basic moral decency and all military tradition unless the lives of many more American citizens (at home or abroad) were immediately and directly at stake. There is absolutely no evidence of this or even the slightest reasonable supposition of any justifying circumstance of any kind.
An honest investigation would likely reveal that the Benghazi betrayal was done to enable our enemies to succeed in capturing ambassador Stevens, either to trade him later for the Blind Sheik or to kill him outright in order to cover aka obama’s tracks in supplying weapons to our enemies in Syria or elsewhere. While the simple act of denying a rescue attempt might not by itself be treason, when coupled with the reason behind the denial, it most certainly is.
Even the most addle-brained Kool-Aid drinker can’t help but see that the rescue denial was an extreme act of self-serving cowardice in an attempt sweep under the carpet and hide that aka obama was “adhering to [the USA’s] Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort” (i.e., TREASON).
By the way, this kind of treason is normally punishable by the death, but I, for one, would be perfectly satisfied to see aka obama just sentenced to only to do five to ten years of really hard time in the electric chair (I’d even allow the power to be shut off during non-business hours out of deference to the loony greenies).

Well said, elengr! I hadn't thought of the blind sheik angle. Five years ago, I'd have figured that was weird conspiracy thinking; today, it makes as much sense as anything and everything else.

Most likely ansar al sharia, the hired terror types by Morsi's MB which was hired/bribed to the tune of 8.4 billion by the dear leader was surprised when they met any resistance at all in Benghazi.
the fix was supposedly in and all they(ansar al sharia) had to do was walk in, Steal Stevens and eventually trade him for the blind sheik making zero look Presidential as he would broker the deal. All this only weeks before the election.(and with 35 CIA agents smuggling arms looking on as well.)
Of course the entire thing backfired and now everyone wants to know where zero was when it all went down. That of course "is" the story since he was screwing around with a ten year old African male while doing drugs. Hence, the Reggie and I were playing cards excuse.Yeah right!
It's all ens with impeachment for them unless Boehner keeps falling into their numerous traps like Syria, the debt ceiling and soon amnesty. You can be sure he will.
