She obviously wanted to be with her children in the morning moreso than at night which is mostly sleepy time for them. Also, by moving to a later time slot, she gets out of cooking dinner. She's a sly fox.

Maybe it just boils down to 'she hates to cook'.. "I ain't gonna cook for no man. That's a woman's job and I don't do anything that people expect females to do!" << She actually thinks like this.

Most of us were probably highly skeptical when Greta switched to Fox, but I couldn’t have become more impressed. She’s a true professional. Does her homework, and has what appears to be a genuine interest in her interviewees, the issues she raises and, perhaps more important, seems to be a decent person. None of which, frankly, I’d expected. Delighted to be proven wrong.

I missed Sean’s announcement. He said earlier that he had an announcement about TV and radio. What was the radio announcement?

Think of FOX News as a baseball team: Their starting pitchers are Greta, O'Reilly, Hannity, and Megan. Pretty good startign four...better than any other team (cable network)

However, their CLOSER now is SHEP. God help 'em. With the new technology available, Ailes will soon be able to measure how many people change the channel whenever Shep appears..

Greta is libertarian and interviews very fairly.... she has a Rush excerpt on almost nightly; and has Jason Chaffetz and Trey Gowdy as frequent guests, as well as Pat Smith, the grieving mother of the late Sean Smith.

Last time I watched Greta, she was doing some kind of wall-to-wall coverage of the latest trial-by-media...

I personally don't care enough about celebrity murder to stomach it, no matter how fair.

So I think I'll just take your word for it.

…better than any other team (cable network)…

A little bit less left-wing is still left-wing (minus the clown Hannity, that is)

Greta seems like a genuine person who would be a good friend. Noot always as conservative as I would like (or sometimes at all), but very able and professional—which I really respect.

With 30 years in the media, mostly radio under my belt, very few high profile air talent leave when the airshift is done. Well that’s the way it used to be. There are commercials, promos and personal things that need attention.

When I did morning news I came to work between midnight and 1AM.

5 hours writing and putting newscasts together, printing and then updating as needed. On the air until 10AM. Another hour unwinding, updating my phone calls/answering machine.

Today obviously things are faster but I imagine in TV there is still a lot to do.

I dare say they’ve probably a larger staff for her program than you had for your radio news.

Heck, Greta’s show goes until 8 now and she’s talking about commuting home in daylight for half the year.

What about news show, is Shep doing news at 6:00?

I'm sure someone has answered this, but I'm too lazy to read 'em all! Shep will retain his 3:00 show and do breaking news BS. Hoping for no breaking news!

I watch the only two watchable shows on One America News with Graham Ledger and Rick Amato and so it will remain on the diet. I also watch Glenn Beck and Real News, since S.E. Cupp left and Ellison Barber is on it a lot. Guess I can add in greta iof I want or go to my radio talks how alternatives. Willkow is decent though. He tries to tackle stuff Glenn isn’t discussing that night.

I will add that I do more reading and hearing radio than watching Tv news. But I latched on to One America News’ two shows and I also out of boredom watched Hannity sometimes and Greta as well. But I also watch Glenn Beck. Despite my dislike for his thoughts on social issues. On other issues he gets it right. He was tackling the border problems last week in a special On The Record and Sara Carter also came on his show to discuss it.

Bingo... one man newsroom. Sometimes three or four but I was still responsible for what aired.

[[I don’t sense any strong conservative core in her]]]

You eggs-actly right. Megyn is a politically correct, working mother-feminist, pro-gay pundit. She is dreadful. Many conservatives on Free Republic don’t seem to realize that.
