Obamacare game
(CNSNews.com) - A Kentucky entrepreneur is seeking funding to produce a new board game called Obamacare. "Everybody has to pay. Nobody ever wins," the news release promises. ("You're either broke or you're dead," the game board says.)
Game creator Jack LeFeber says regardless how you view the health care law, "You'll love the creative insanity that only a government bureaucracy can cobble together. It's fun, educational and a little scary, all at the same time."
Players can choose to be Democrats, Republicans, or members of the Tea Party, Green Party, Occupy Wall Street, or the IRS.
Each player starts out on the "Buy Insurance" square as a small business owner (except for the Occupy Wall Streeters, who begin the game unemployed). Along the way, players are taxed, troubled, hospitalized, or may even fall victim to a death panel as they make their way across the board.
LeFeber says players can enjoy the game, even if they haven't read the 10,000-page Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
"What could possibly happen when you extract $1.7 TRILLION dollars from the private sector?" LeFeber asks. "This game demonstrates in a fun, educational way how the middle class may be affected over the next few years."
In addition to a game board, dice, and player tokens, the game includes health insurance policy cards, owner-industry cards, penalty cards -- and play money called "ObamaBucks."
"We may have added some funny exaggerations in the game," LeFeber said. "But since the original bill was brought to you by the same folks who so efficiently manage the US Postal Service, Social Security Trust Fund, recent Bank Bailouts, and soon-to-be $17,000,000,000,000.00 in government debt--you know the game is rigged against us from the start."
LeFeber has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund production of the board game. He says the game will be made in Louisville, Ky., "So it will be taxed and troubled like any other small business in America."

The headline says it all.
The ONLY way to win the odumbocare game is to defund it completely and then “trash can” it.
I like it. There are times when light humor really helps you get through difficulties (like four to eight years worth of hoops and hurdles). Sometimes all one can do is to laugh or to cry. If this board game catches on, becomes very popular, it’s just a matter of time before somebody tries to paint a big scarlet “R” for racism, in order to put a stop to any public satire of The O. More folks are saying, “I don’t care” call me what you want. I’m speaking the truth whether or not you can take it!”.
“Nobody ever wins.” Wrong—AARP, Federal Government, Unions, politicians all win at everybody else’s expense.
I’ve felt from the beginning that Obamacare is a “full employment” bill for lawyers. Especially the 15k special agents hired by the IRS to administer this monstrosity.
So there are some winners.
Only the government could whip something like that up
Awesome! And so true to life (as we'll soon know it).
The first Community Chest card I drew said the following:
“Go directly to your local exchange; do not pass “Go”, do not collect $2,500 in health care savings.”
