I just think business owners should be able to run their business.

Just like the bakery which was forced to make a wedding cake for a gay couple, right?

The question is should they, not do they have too. They should, but they don’t have too.

But you can't say no blacks or women for example. What are the limits a business can set in terms of what customers they can have and what rules they must adhere to?

I notice the Starbucks policy is that "guns were no longer welcome in its stores, but stopped short of an outright ban." It could be that there will be legal problems. A policeman or detective would be affected presumably. Would they be given a wavier?

The company said it is not asking its employees to enforce the policy, to avoid confrontations with armed customers.

I’m probably on the wrong side of this with most of you

It's never wrong to defend private property rights.

I have no reason to go into a Starbucks. Coffee smells burned and costs $4.00.
I make better at home for a fraction of the price.

They shouldn’t have had to make the cake - if that was my business, I would not have made it.

It’s a stupid question Starbucks allows guns in states where it is legal today. They have only asked people to stop bringing guns into their stores. They are not denying anyone service if they carry a gun.

Also why would anyone buy their crappy coffee at all?

If it’s legal in a state, I don’t see how they can keep a person out, but screw’em, take your money elsewhere
