That’s totally correct, and he was a tough law and order guy, a tax cutter, and cut NY regulations - in addition to being a supporter of Antonin Scalia as a prototype justice.
Too many Freepers are obsessed with how people live and not how they govern. I don’t need a role model, I need someone to get govt out of my life. Why someone wanted to drag Rudy into a Hannity thread is beyond me....

Hannity needs to elevate his intellectual disposition a notch or two.
Giuliani worked out well for NYC. Not sure I’d go further than that.
You guys are too tough on the good Doctor. He’s arrogant, no doubt, and an unabashed self-promoter. But he makes sense 20% of the time, is off on a tangent 50% of the time, but 30% of the time he makes me chuckle and sometimes think differently about an issue. Hannity is like listening to a sixth grader debate something. He doesn’t do it for me.
Maybe a strong stomach and a realization that the media is a business helps. I admit that the quality of his program varies markedly from day to day. However, I personally enjoy listening to Savage when I’m in the car.

I disagree. I used to love working in the kitchen in the afternoons going from Rush to Sean to dinner being served while The Great One, Mark Levin, came on. I enjoyed Sean's radio show... now a few months ago I was out in the field in NM and the truck I had had Satellite radio, that included Fox News channel audio simulcast... you ever do that? GOOD GRIEF... any panel segment is a cacophony with 4 people and a TV host all shouting over each other. Try it sometime when you watch... just close your eyes and your ears start to hemorrhage. The radio show is better with one-on-one interviews.

Nicely put. I don’t watch Hannity or listen to his show as he is a RINO, and proof of that is the fact that even though I don’t watch his show, whenever I channel flip past Hannity’s show it seems more often than not Hannity has Rove on his show.

Truckers often call in and like listening to Savage as well.
Nobody can say he’s not entertainment! I get a bank out of him when he gets on one of those “Vermin “ Rolls... Some may not like his delivery..he can get pretty wound up...but he generally has something to say that’s informative.
I think people have to understand he’s a package deal....there’s enough sides of his charcter to find something interesting to hear..and always, again, entertaining.
I don’t think I’d ever listen if it wasn’t for the character that is only “Savage”....he takes the edge off all the seriousness we here day in and day out...while he presents an informative show.
Having grown up with Bob Grant on the radio... Savage is boresome.

I think it depends on what an individual expects from listening to the man. After all Hannity can sound like a sniffling little kid on a playgound at times....
Savage can make you laugh over things serious just by his delivery...he’s “entertaining”.....yet he makes his point.
All pundits are just that..”entertaining”...far more than they are informative....some more entertaining then others...
I remember when my son had me listen...he was cracking up and so was I....yet Savage was getting his point across as well.
I give him an A+...because he never takes himself as seriously as those who criticize him do......but you are highly mistaken if you think the man is a retard....take a look at his education sometime...beyond impressive.......and is why he can pull the “Savage Nation” off as no other.

Savage is well...Savage....But admittedly I have to be in the entertainment mood to hear him. He can be so dang funny especially when he’s trying to be otherwise.
I don’t know who Bob Grant is....but my son introduced me to Savage. My first hearing it took my sons laughter to realize I needed to switch my ears out of the serious mode.
If you don’t have a sense of humor Savage will never fit the bill.
