Ah, so the Democrats shut the government (partially) and the Republicans have to reopen it for them.

NO! These overworked, underpaid public servants NEED rest and time with their family! Leave them to enjoy life for once!

The GOPe is terrible in it's messaging.
Why can't McCOnnell get the rebuttals out into the media?
Does Cruz have to do McConnell's job too?

Why doesn’t he just do it by tyrannical fiat. He’s always saying he don’t need no stinkin congress to do whatever he wants.
To: Paladin2
It seems to me that just about every Democrat in Congress has been given a chance to take a shot by the MSM.
Has any Republican said so much as “Boo” ?

The NY Times. The dinosaur is trapped in a pool of its own waste. It screams in fear as it sinks lower into the stench. Who will save it? The scavengers wait on the banks, hoping that perhaps the head will fall clear of the pool of waste so that they may feed on it.

Patience. The White Hut has seriously overplayed its hand.
The little fit they pitched at the WWII Memorial today is already having major pushback. I smell victory in the air.

the only time GOPe seem very animated and go on all the media channel to spread their messasing is when they’re attacking other GOP. Why can’t GOPe get some of that energy and go around media channel to blame Obama for the shut down

It’s called collaboration, on McConnell’s part. They so want to do the one-party thing with the Dems.

The fact that we are here today to debate raising Americas debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. government cant pay its own bills. ... I therefore intend to oppose the effort to increase Americas debt limit.
