I hope there is a call for ALL war vets to come to D.C.
Maybe even a special call for us Vietnam vets to show up. An across the board appeal might be better, though. Vets from all our wars, the younger assisting the older, something like that.
It would be quite a huge crowd. Add the recent vets of Iraq and Afghanistan (still young & able-bodied) to that mix & the regime would be terrified, they might even declare it an insurrection & read the riot act.
My father was a WWII vet, I am a Vietnam vet and I have the utmost respect for ALL veterans...The finest generation gives true meaning to the phrase, “Lead, Follow, or get the H*LL outta the way!!!!”

I noticed that too. What will this country come to when these men are gone. I also noticed that this is part of the group the left derides as “old white males”, or dead white males. I know all WWII vets aren’t white or male, but the overwhelming majority are, especially combat.
Wrong bub. Have, am and will continue to do so. Gen X here and there’s many more like me.

PS: Do you see what happened? The Veterans just DID IT ! They didn't wait to evaluate polls to see how the public would feel if they stormed the barricades. That's what people are loving.

When a mean spirited person doesn’t get his way, he will retaliate. Our government is FULL of wastefulness and there are thousands of ways to cut costs that would never affect the public, yet Obama has picked out ones that are most important to the people. He closed the ‘people’s house’ - White House to the public and now he’s closed the World War II Memorial to Veterans, who may never have another chance to visit it.
Remember the words of Valerie Jarrett, Obama’s closest advisor; “After we win this election, it’s our turn. Payback time. Everyone not with us is against us and they better be ready because we don’t forget. The ones who helped us will be rewarded, the ones who opposed us will get what they deserve. There is going to be hell to pay”.
That’s what anyone has to do in order to win.
Rush does it.
The media is the obstacle and it is the power behind Obama and the dems

Winning them over is impossible and it is insane to try

I am just not going to get excited about the media value of this event.

These guys. These WWII vets answered the call 70 years ago fighting Socialism and Facism in Europe. Now here they are again fighting Socialism and Facism in the USA.
Well, I guess if they faced down Hitler in '43, then they sure ain't afraid of Obama in '13.
