WH official: ‘Doesn’t really matter to us’ how long shutdown lasts

The White House reportedly doesn’t care how long the government shutdown continues because President Obama is “winning” the political fight.
In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, an unnamed “senior administration official” revealed that the White House is more interested in a political win than getting the government reopened:
Said a senior administration official: “We are winning…It doesn’t really matter to us” how long the shutdown lasts “because what matters is the end result.”
White House allies, however, say a long shutdown could make the White House’s position less tenable. Mr. Obama is the most visible symbol of the U.S. government, they say, and will inevitably share in the blame as hardships mount and people weary of the infighting.

Probably not but they can only fudge them so much. The insurance companies are already reporting the disastrously meager enrollment figures for the first few days. The MSM can’t control that source. The stockholders have to be told.
The MSM may or may not try to surpress the truth but in any case they will fail to do so.
Actually it does matter to them, or it will.
The longer these employees are furloughed, the less of their money will get recycled back through government unions to the Democrat Party.
Sooner or later Dems trying to run for re-election will start to squeal.

If the Whitehouse TRULY “doesn’t care” about our “NATIONAL SECURITY” then it is time for our other institution, the U.S. Army, to ACT.
I say move about 150,000 Army troops in to D.C. and just clean out all political appointees of any stripe whatsoever, send the 800,000 “non essentials” PERMANENT pink slips, put Obama, Axelrod, Pelosi, Reid and a few others in the Navy Brig and then put a general in the chair in the Oval Office. IT’S TIME FOR THIS NON SENSICAL AMATEUR HOUR TO STOP!!!
That general’s orders are simple: 1. pay the bills according to priority using available cash in the bank ONLY; no borrowing 2. keep cutting until the amount the government spends is equal to what it takes in.
3. Move up the November 2014 elections to February 2014.
4. General stays in the Oval Office and troops remain deployed to do his bidding until Obama can be replaced in Jan. 2017 5. Hagel is a political appointee and will be arrested along with Obama, Axelrod, Pelosi and Reid. General will appoint a civilian replacement.

Liberals take lines and bull sh!t. However in between they always reveal how they have this inner circle of bureaucrats and powers stomping their boots ultimately on everybody.
The last thing they want is a gazillions march of people on welfare in DC demanding their benefits and moneys, and instead they prime it with money to bankruptcy while dining on lobsters... For now.
Even the illegals don’t want this crap. Why would they want to be tracked by the government facing death panels?
Notice the absence of even generic polling for Senate races involving vulnerable redstate Dems.
The biggest benefit is that 90% of IRS staff is furloughed. Does not matter to me how long they stay shut down. Let it be forever.
When are Barry, Rimshot Joe Biden and the Congress going to get their furlough notices? It’s way overdue.
