It's disappointing he's missed these important details. Unlike with pure political commentary, misinformation on things like this can cause serious financial problems for people who take his advice.

During my pre-retirement period, I carried individual coverage under HIPAA’s “shall issue” coverage because of pre-existing conditions. That coverage was only about 20 percent more than my COBRA’d coverage had been, which leads me to the conclusion that these big bumps aren’t primarily coming from the pre-existing rule, but are from other aspects of O’care.
I’m betting that when you actually add up the costs O’Care has increased for insurance companies, there’ll be more of them from the freebees they gave to the voters than from addressing the flaws in the system that they campaigned on.
The “free preventive service” feature, for example, guarantees that they’ll have a claim from almost everybody in the pool. So that alone’ll boost the premiums by a couple of hundred bucks a year. When the “no lifetime max” provision goes back into effect, it’ll have an impact too. And the “free birth control” will produce claims from a third of the insured.
I heard Rush today and he kept saying the penalty was $95.00 and I was yelling at the radio. I sent him an email correcting him. I don’t think people are realizing the penalty is not cheap depending on what your income is it could be in the thousands of dollars and you still don’t have insurance this should be noted. Obamacare is a lose lose
proposition.

Correct. The Republ;ican "talking points" are that the $95.00 fine will be the cheapest way to go and most currently uninsured individuals will simply opt for that exit the first year. The $95.00 fine is a MINIMUM! Take a family of four with an income of $120,000.00 a year and the fine is $1200.00. Why is the 1% number not being given?
As far as our illustrious dear leader is concerned it appears that there is still a lot of truth to the old connotation that scum just like cream have a tendency to float to the top.

And he voted for Obama twice, but actually thought he was voting himself Free healthcare
and all his financial problems would be solved for life. See, just about every voter for Obama
outside of just voting Democrat saw something different in Obama's speeches.
They saw something
for themselves, a means to enrich themselves off of others labor. Greed. Pure Greed. And
Obama fed their dreams with platitudes to keep their dreams alive. And then that dang
reality comes along to muck everything up. Who to blame now? They will never admit any wrongdoing.
