They’re going to blame Ted Cruz and the Tea Party in general. RINOs and Dems teaming up to do what they do best: screwing over the people who actually try to get them to do the right thing.

And take back that US Treasury checkbook Barry is using.
Since when did the president become empowered to scribble 500 million dollar checks to whomever?

Mind you this is the SAME Dick Armey who lead an unsuccessful coup against FreedomWorks last year.
He tried to sack Matt Kibbe and only stopped when he was bought off for 8 Million.

There's quite a bit of revisionist history in this article.

Newt capitulated in the shutdown showdown with Clinton not because Clinton outmanuevered him, but rather because Bob Dole didn't want the budget standoff adversely affecting Dole's presidential campaign effort. Dole informed Gingrich that the House conservatives would receive no more help from the GOPe Senate and Newt didn't want to fight the fight alone.

The problem has been and will always will be the GOPe.

I would rather that Republicans fight to their deaths. Who freaking cares if they get re-elected if the country is even deeper in debt, the economy is in shambles and the government has become monstrous?

I think all of us here are finally united in the idea that we will no longer support RINO Collaborators.

The only ones here who support them seem to be trolls.

So that's progress. We also seem to be united behind Ted in 2016, and the RINOs are flailing.
