PAYSON, AZ - Republican Rep. Brenda Barton of Payson compared President Barack Obama to Adolph Hitler on her Facebook page Monday in a post urging county sheriffs to revoke authority from the National Parks Service “thugs” who are enforcing the federal shutdown on national parks lands.
“Someone is paying the National Park Service thugs overtime for their efforts to carry out the order of De Fuhrer… where are our Constitutional Sheriffs who can revoke the Park Service Rangers authority to arrest??? Do we have any Sheriffs with a pair?” she wrote.
Fuhrer is a German term for leader that is most often associated with Hitler.
Barton’s comments drew strong criticism and condemnation from Democrats and others on social media.
But in a telephone interview with the Arizona Capitol Times, Barton stood by the comments, saying the comparison between Obama and Hitler was apt, at least in their style of leadership.
“He’s dictating beyond his authority,” she said.

Have to disagree. Obama, who runs a corrupt and incompetent administration, bows to foreign kings, quails before Syria’s tinhorn dictator and pursues an opulent lifestyle just doesn’t strike me as a Hitler. I would say that he’s more in the league of Kwame Nkrumah, Sukarno, Ahmed Sékou Touré or Joseph “Diamond Joe” Mobutu.

There are also some glaring differences between Hitler and Obama but these differences only go to show how depraved narcissistic personalities can result in similar characteristics. Hitler did serious service in the German army in WWI while Obama has no military service and I would classify him as a draft dodger. Hitler was all out to make Germany the most powerful nation in the world while Obama and his enablers are out to weaken if not destroy the USA military power. Hitler had some personal real world moxie all be it demented while Obama has his enablers. Among other personal likenesses there is the tie that both had with the Muslim World especially with the Saudis.
Her and Hank Jr should appear together. They’re the only two who are willing to call obama what he is.
We also need sheriffs to grow a pair. Oh, she said that. Has any sheriffs responded?

“Hitler” by Joachim Fest. The parallels between how Hitler acquired and consolidated his power in many aspects are very similar to Akbar Hussein Maobama’s. I read a couple of paragraphs from the book to a thoughtful friend of mine a few weeks back without his being able to see the cover of the book, and his comments in response to what I read were about Obama. Eerily similar in their approach to governance.
