Limbaugh: It Feels Like We've Lost A War To A Communist Country
Real Clear Politics ^ | 10/16/13 | Rush Limbaugh

Posted on 10/16/2013 10:07:32 AM PDT by Nachum

RUSH: I want to go back to the lady on the phone who says this doesn’t feel right. What’s happening here to the country just doesn’t feel right. You know what’s happened here? You know what this feels like, folks? I’ll tell you exactly what it feels like to me. You tell me if this isn’t close. It feels like we’ve lost a war to a communist country. It’s almost like there’s been a coup. There’s been a peaceful coup. The media has led this coup, and the Democrats have taken over with popular support. We’re getting policies and implementations and things that were never, ever part of this country’s design and founding. (via Daily Rushbo)

I agree but I would rather just take over the Republican party and kick out the RINO’s.

What is your plan for taking over the GOP? What will you do if the GOP-e gives you an alternative of voting for a RINO or a Democrat?

Revolt is coming.

Not if the SHeepers on this site have their way. Unlike FReepers the SHeepers bleat whenever someone says they're willing to fight for their rights and shoot and kill those who would violate those rights.

Had they been around for the Revolutionary War the SHeepers would've denounced the Founding Fathers as a bunch of whack-jobs and they'd have immediately notified the nearest British soldier of any revolutionary activities.

Seriously, if there is a revolt then we can count on the SHeepers to side with Obama and to lick the jackboots of those they serve.

The party leaders in USSR had food, medical care, houses, vodka, etc. Just the little people had to wait in lines for rations.

It wasn’t their job to signal those people. It was to vote for someone else. They instead kicked one candidate after the other overboard because of BS.

And in the end they did walk. That is why Romney got fewer votes than McCain did.

Limbaugh: It Feels Like We've Lost A War To A Communist Country

A sad day for the country indeed. But we must still have hope for the future.

A Matt Bevin ad in the making ... a very sad day for America and conservatives and yet here is McConnell all smiles with his buddy Harry ...

I am sorry Rush is only figuring this out now!

Sorry, Rush, but you are WAY BEHIND on this.

In many ways you’ve been like the GOP, hiding behind rhetoric and now that it is too late and the sun has set on America...you only now realize a coup has taken place.

Rush Revere indeed. Aw...phooey on ya’.

Imagine what the founding fathers would have said to the 29 1/2 work week? They would call it TYRANNY.

Imagine what the United States will look like under the 29 1/2 Work week in Just a Few Years. Then think about it after 40 years and what impact it will have when they want to retire.

The US has been Screwed by the Democrat/Progressives.

“What is your plan for taking over the GOP? What will you do if the GOP-e gives you an alternative of voting for a RINO or a Democrat?”

Jesus! Most people here cant even be bothered to show up to a rally. To them “take over” means someone else sticks their neck out and they give “expert” commentary as to what they are doing “wrong”.

I expect Conservatives to do VERY well at the ballot box next year as Obamacare implodes and takes the job market down with it.

That being said...the long-term prospects for the takers overtaking and outvoting the makers....particularly if they do amnesty....not looking good at all.

signalling is necessary so that the party doesn’t waste it’s time pushing candidate RINO. That’s called winning early and easily.

But they have to believe that the signal is not a bluff, and that’s the part we have problems with, because for the majority here, the bloviating about Romney was a bluff, and most conservatives voted for a moderate/liberal GOP candidate.

But enough withheld their vote to make the difference and ideally, the next time around, when we say that candidate RINO is unacceptable, anoint him and we walk, maybe they’ll believe us. But it may take a couple of cycles of “not bluffing and actually walking” before they get the point.

I guarantee you it did not go unnoticed that this wasn’t the usual capitulation.

Sadly, style points aren't awarded for surrender monkeys. Capitulation is capitulation.

You're right, though, that surrender for the rank and file is not an option. The Republican Party is wretchedly led with little principle and less backbone. I for one do not believe its fixable. A new party will probably be necessary because the Republican Party is burning its last bridges with its base.

You are right, the high probability scenario is system collapse. And the quicker the better. Also a good reason to ONLY vote for REAL conservatives.

Actually we DID have people like that during the Revolutionary War. Almost all of the English-speakers in Quebec are descended from them.

Well to be fair to Rush, he has his stash and can go wherever he wants.

I’ve never understood why he just never could be bothered to do more TV appearances or to write another book. The last one was 20-something years ago.
