TRENTON, NJ, October 18, 2013 (LifeSiteNews.com) –The New Jersey Supreme Court ruled on Friday afternoon that gay “marriages” would commence in the Garden State on October 21 – more than two months before the court decides whether the marriages are valid.

When the State Supreme Court ruled in 2006 that the state must furnish homosexual couples with legal affirmation and state benefits, legislators instituted civil unions. Now liberal judges are saying that's not enough.

"Governor Christie has stated he will comply with the order." And herein lies the problem with Republicans. This is exactly how the nation got gay marriage in the first place. Mitt Romney "complied" with a court "order" to change the law. The courts do not have the power to order any governor or legislature to do anything. It is the executive branch that holds the power and the legislature that holds the purse strings and can throw out judges if it wants to".

As Andrew Jackson said, “Mr. Marshall has made his decision. Now let him enforce it.”

Christie appealed the ruling in the first place. The court ruled against him yesterday. He really doesn’t have much choice but to comply without being in contempt of court. He’s done about all he can do until the full case is heard in January.

Criticize Christie all you want, but to say he “caved” on this is unfair and an oversimplification. He can’t overrule the state Supreme Court.

Sorry sheep but this is the natural/unnatural progression of the violation of the Law! If you need clarification then you need your history lesson.

Involve the state in something it has no business in and you will not like the result.

But then you demanded it to be so... now you are upset at the result. Boo Hoo

P.S. Christie is just another slut politician.

Exactly. And Romney’s facilitation of homo marriage is one of the two primary reasons that he was the first GOP nominee I ever refused to give my vote to.

No way in hell Christie will get my vote. The only good thing about worthless fag-marriage states is that they are providing a good demarcation line for eventual secession. An America that embraces this deviancy is an America I’ll gladly see burn to the ground.

It’s a symptom of turning from God. Very familiar progression, Romans 1:20 and following to end of chapter, and an abundance of homos are only ONE feature of this slide.

Anyhow you might like to see it burn to the ground. That’s also what Satan would like to see.

I just see so many people sitting here, carping, when they could be canvassing for God (aka evangelizing).

If New Jersey voters are against gay marriage, but don’t user their voting muscle to stop it, then let them be swallowed by so-called social Darwinism.

Also, remember the media coverage. If Christie or Romney or anyone else defied a court order of this type, the media would create a “George Wallace in the schoolhouse door” moment out of it.

George Wallace became known most for defying integration. No modern politico wants his place in history as defying homosexual marriage.

California voters were against homosexual marriage, and used their voting muscle to stop it. But the liberals got the courts to overturn their vote. What exactly are voters supposed to do?

I wonder what the tipping point will finally be. Legislation from the bench? The feral’s finally pushing too far? The elites in Washington finally pushing the American people too far? Illegals having more rights and benefits than the American people? Or combination of these and other violations of the constitution and rule of law?

The Courts are responsible for wholesale abortion and the carnage of forty million dead human lives. Now they are responsible for the imposition of decadent gay marriage. Its very difficult for a decent person take an oath, sit on a jury and pretend to respect one of these slimy judges.

What exactly are voters supposed to do?

What can voters do? Read the Constitution! (RTFM). Noting that the federal Constitution, including amendments, is under 30 pages, voters can get themselves up to speed with the Constitution's division of federal and state government powers and stop letting other people make their decisions for them.

I suspect that probably most California voters are constitutonally ignorant and consequently don't understand their 10th Amendment powers. So Calfornia voters can either wise up or get swallowed by social Darwinism like Jersey voters.

Traditional marriage has been on a downhill slide for over forty years, since no fault divorce started becoming the accepted law of the land. Politicians don’t want to fight it because so many of them have unclean hands as far as their own marital vows are concerned.

In metaphorical terms the barn door was left open decades ago and the horses have long since escaped. Now somebody has come along and set fire to the empty barn. We’re worrying about a fire when we should be out rounding up our horses.
