Upset at President Barack Obama's policies on Iran and Syria, members of Saudi Arabia's ruling family are threatening a rift with the United States that could take the alliance between Washington and the kingdom to its lowest point in years.

Saudi Arabia's intelligence chief is vowing that the kingdom will make a 'major shift' in relations with the United States to protest perceived American inaction over Syria's civil war as well as recent U.S. overtures to Iran, a source close to Saudi policy said on Tuesday.

Prince Bandar bin Sultan told European diplomats that the United States had failed to act effectively against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, was growing closer to Tehran, and had failed to back Saudi support for Bahrain when it crushed an anti-government revolt in 2011, the source said.

So no one wants us to be the world’s police. And then they get mad when we’re not...the world’s police. Am I missing something? Can’t they take care of their own region?

Remember one thing....

Either way, you're dealing with muslims.

Caveat emptor.

It’s culturally “beneath them” to “take care of” anything.

Cool!
Kick out the Saudis “studying” here on student visas and expel their diplomatic personnel, too!

They are "threatening a rift."

That's just more international double-speak. This country isn't going to say BOO to the Saudis. WE are their biggest buyers. They have the petroleum and natural gas; we have the need for it.

How will that EVER change? Southern California would split from the UNION if that ever happened and would establish its own ties with the Saudis, just for the GASOLINE to keep L.A. on their freeways.

They are very angry with O. They put him through Harvard and he is supposed to be their man, but he screwed up:
1. He let the Sunni Muslim Brotherhood get kicked out of power in Egypt,
2. He failed to provide the USAF to help out the Sunni (AlQ, etc.) rebels in Syria,
3. He hasn't socked it to the Shia Iranians.

Bought and paid for, but not staying bought. No wonder they are unhappy!

Keep in mind that all OPEC has to do is suddenly refuse to accet US dollars for their oil and our reserve currency status is history.

The consequences of that are unimaginable.

There’s a major disruption in the status quo occurring right now. yet another new world order is forming and it is a threat to America. A severing of ties with Saudi Arabia is just one more puzzle piece that inevitably has to fall into place for this new world order to form and which accelerates this new global alignment. Our politicians are not being straight with us. The state of the union is not good. Obama, through either sheer incompetence or malicious design, has sailed us off the edge of the map and there be monsters here.

Obama is just as skilled at diplomacy as he is in restructuring health care insurance.

A fundamental change in the nature of the United States, indeed.
