The company chosen by the Obama administration to oversee the repair of the new federal health insurance Web site faced questions from lawmakers a year ago about whether it was an appropriate choice for earlier work on the site, given that it is owned by the countrys largest health insurance company.

If you were expecting any gloating from me over how Democrats are being hoisted on their own petard -- an unread law they rammed through the House and Senate on a party-line vote, using crooked means and against the will of the voters -- not gonna happen.
With the Democrats all tied up in 500 million lines of code after blowing through 600 million bucks to pay contractors to build a crippled website that has forever destroyed Obama's brand as Mr. Cutting-Edge Technology, it's very easy to find things to gloat about, but I won't.
I suppose I could mention how Obama says that if you're one of the unlucky 99% who can't access his broken website, to call his hotline where you'll be directed back to his broken website because you can't buy insurance from the government-run, compulsory "markets" or "exchanges" by merely picking up the phone to call operators standing by to take your call. Anyway, Obama claims that, like everyone else, he learned about his broken website only when he read it in his morning Teleprompter. But not a word about that from me.
In fact, I'm not even going to mention the fact that 10 -- count 'em -- 10 Senate Democrats have decided to join the hostage-taking, arson-loving, terroristic, anarchist loons with bombs strapped to their chests in calling for Obama to delay things.
The Obamacare rollout has been so disastrous, even Marco Rubio is starting to act like a Republican. He's put down his amnesty pom-poms long enough to draft legislation to delay the individual mandate. Sen. Joe Manchin wants the individual mandate delayed for a year. But, like I said, not a word about any of this from me. No gloating.
Nor will you hear a peep from me about the fact that, for 16 days, all the news media would do is whine hysterically about what amounted to a mere partial government shutdown, while the Unintended Consequences Division of Obamacare swung its wrecking ball at Obamacare itself, helpfully reducing Obama's "historic", "signature" "legacy" "achievement" to ruins. It's made Obama nostalgic for the days when he was merely a lame duck. He now looks back fondly on memories of his Syria debacle. No sign yet that ol' Vlad Putin is cooking up a compromise that can save countless civilian lives from Obama's weapon of mass dysfunction known as Obamacare. But, like I said, I'm not going to gloat.
Indeed, if I were gloating, wouldn't I mention how an overwhelming majority of Americans think Obama's Obamacare rollout is a total joke, and that the declared 'winner' of the partial government shutdown has approval ratings in the crapper? "Six voters in ten describe implementation of Obamacare as 'a joke,'" and "a majority continues to dislike President Obama's signature achievement," Fox News reports. But my lips are sealed about that, too.
Here's something else I haven't mentioned (nor will I): A CBS News analysis has exposed the fact that more people are signing up for Medicaid than for private health insurance in a lot of the 15 states running their own exchanges. "CBS News has confirmed that in Washington, of the more than 35,000 people newly enrolled, 87 percent signed up for Medicaid. In Kentucky, out of the 26,000 new enrollments, 82 percent are in Medicaid. And in New York, of the 37,000 enrollments, Medicaid accounts for 64 percent."
"And," CBS News continues, "there are similar stories across the country in nearly half of the states that run their own exchanges." A buncha poor people getting freebie healthcare from the exchanges threatens the structure of a system which depends on enough young, healthy suckers buying expensive health insurance they don't need to keep the racket going. Obama says Obamacare is more than just a broken website, that the 'product' is 'good'. Medicaid was already a dysfunctional money pit even before Obama's effort to increase its size and scope and to prod everybody to get their piggyback ride on this 'good' 'product' imploding from its own weight. But, am I going to mention any of this? No.
Liberals insist it's much too early to judge the success or failure of this brand new program called Obamacare. Liberals insisted it was much too early to judge the success or failure of a brand new program called Soviet communism -- 7 whole decades on.
In any event, the White House predicted yesterday that Obamacare's crippled website will be fixed as early as another whole month -- by the end of November. It should be working smoothly by then, the White House claimed. So, instead of spending weeks at the website to sign up, you can log in and lose your privacy instantly.
The Washington Examiner reports that a "dummy JavaScript file still live on the Healthcare.gov website features characters from Star Wars and Transformers. The file includes the names 'Han Solo,' 'Chewbacca Wookie,' and 'Leia Organa' as well as 'Optimus Smith.'" The Examiner goes on to point out that "Dummy javascript files are used for testing purposes and are rarely released to a live website." LOL! Whoops, I wasn't gloating -- honest!
Anyway, that's...
My Two Cents...

Saturday-morning ping! Have a great weekend, y’all!
BTTT
Good one John! Why are we paying someone to fix that thing? Shouldn’t the contractor that was originally paid to do it pay to have it fixed? Are we just opening the coffers to hand out money to Obama supporters?
I love that X-ray!
Bump!
Great post.
Excellent essay as always
Nice summary of another 0bama success story.
when exactly was the bidding process for all this?
LOL, love your dry sense of humor!
With democrats there is no bidding process, if there it the winner is selected for political reasons not knowledge or an ability to preform a task well.
Michelle Obamas Princeton classmate is executive at company that built Obamacare website
First Lady Michelle Obamas Princeton classmate is a top executive at the company that earned the no-bid contract to build the failed Obamacare website. Toni Townes-Whitley, Princeton class of 85, is senior vice president at CGI Federal, which earned the no-bid contract to build the $678 million Obamacare enrollment website at Healthcare.gov. CGI Federal is the U.S. arm of a Canadian company. Townes-Whitley and her Princeton classmate Michelle Obama are both members of the Association of Black Princeton Alumni.
Being black and a friend of Michelle Obama's? That's "earning" lol, yep for the dems.
Notice also that the $678 million went to a Canadian company.
(I emphasized a couple of phrases in the article...)
Johnny, another good one, thanks!
kakistocracy
Of course, in a Kakistocracy it helps you receive government contracts if you are incapable of doing what they pay you to do. The less capable you are, the more money you will be paid.
kakistocracygovernment by the worst of men. Quite fitting fer sure
...you receive government contracts if you are incapable of doing what they pay you to do. The less capable you are, the more money you will be paid. You nailed it, that's our government at the present time.
Also applies to most of the political appointments these days.
Sebelius, Holder, Clinton, Kerry, Hagel, Panetta, Lew, Napolitano, Geithner, Emanuel, Rice I could go on and on.
SolyndraCare
A classic example of goverment CORRUPTION!
Grand Slam!
LOLOLOL! I’m so glad you’re not gloating.
I will only gloat when these LIB/DIM/Commie perps are imprisoned. I promise.
This is high caliber stuff. Who's the name of the guy who used to post here, who posts on his own site now? He's hilarious, and this is his-level.
