... Obama did not lie, but neither did he acknowledge the possibility that insurance companies might pull out the rug from under their own satisfied policyholders.
Liberal criticism of the healthcare law as it was being written in 2009 centered on the fact that it left insurance companies as the powerful middlemen at the center of healthcare delivery in the United States. Obama and the authors of the law rejected the liberal critique because they saw no way to win passage of healthcare reform unless they could turn the insurance lobby into an ally, instead of an adversary.

That's a real comment from the comments section below the article, so it's as "real" as any Obamaton can create.
Probably a worker in Obama’s Ministry of Truth.
That’s what I figure, too.
I believe the USG sat around on their ass for three years having meetings, workshops and requirements sessions, all the while not issuing substantive guidance to CGI on what to build.
The government was concerned more on the purpose of this website - information gathering - and validation/verification and filling in all the missing data mining fields. Unbelievably, the government insisted on doing all of this BEFORE it could even allow a prospective ‘consumer’ to get past gate one and get a password and ID it seems.
News comes now of things like unfamiliarity with things like response from Experian on a credit check. I'm guessing with the possible dozens of USG databases from IRS, SSA, TSA, DHS, FBI, CIA et al, there were and are more than a few instances of incompatibility. And, I lay the blame for this on the government not having the proper information for the contractor.
CGI, with its personal connection to the FLOTUS shouldn't get off. But the major blame for this clusterf@ck should be laid on Sebelius’ and Obama’s doorstep.
