Brian Kilmeade just blamed the Te Party candidate for Cuccinelli's loss.(Vanity)

Posted on 11/06/2013 4:13:08 AM PST by Mrs. Frogjerk

Now I know why I take Fox News in small doses. I was watching Fox & Friends this morning and caught Brian Kilmeade blaming the Tea Party candidate for Cuccinelli's loss. Hello! Cuccinelli was backed by the Tea Party! He was most likely referring to the fake Libertarian candidate backed by an Obama bundler. Blaming the so called "Tea Party" candidate for the results of the VA race is flat out lying!

No more Fox News for me! Not even small doses!

I tuned in saw and heard Brian saying that a Tea Party candidate was responsible for taking away a percentage of votes from Cuccinelli. Who was he talking about than? Was there another candidate involved that I didn’t know about?

No. I don’t waste my time with any of the “news” outlets anymore.

I just remembered that he said that the candidate that he was referring to was told by Ron Paul to drop out. So who was it if it wasn’t the “libertarian”? Brian did not say “Libertarian” when referring to this candidate. Otherwise I would have agreed with him because Sarvis ended up screwing Cuccinelli by staying in. I wouldn’t have taken any notice if he did not say “tea party”. Like I said before, maybe he just said it by accident.

If it was a slip up, he does need to be more careful because the Tea Party has been blamed enough for the failures of the GOP. I’m tired of hearing it. That is why I had a strong reaction to his statement.

Kilmeade is a jerk! He often fails to engage his brain before putting his mouth in gear!

I didn’t hear that but I’ll take your word and just say that he had to have misspoke as he then said that the tea party is NOT dead and brought a lot to the table in getting KC so close to winning. He was complementary of the TP

I listen to FOX & Friends every morning including THIS AM. Brian is NOT an airhead, he IS a straight-shooter (listen to his radio show). I did NOT hear any comment criticizing Cuch’s loss to KC/Tea Party.

Let's not start a circular firing squad, etc. Don't eat your own.

Soros backed that dork Sarvis (third party) / stole the election from KC. Dems CANNOT win an election on their own. This is the Chicago way and the Chicago way is sooo predominant in all areas of this @%*&$ administration so much so that it's getting flagrant, just like the lies Bammy is saying about his own lies on Keeping your Dr. and Health care plan. Liar one and all and the press is helping him.

So, please don't start knocking someone on our side like Brian. THAT show has become more conservative since Elizabeth arrived.

Has anyone seen Brian's new book, George Washington's Secret Six? They were talking about it on "Fox & Friends" this morning.

If I didn't mishear, Brian referred to Fraunces Tavern in NY as "St. Francis Tavern."

I’ll take your word for it that he was positive about the Tea Party and that he most likely just slipped up.

I have to admit that Brian does make some good points sometimes. Like his critique of Deblasio. He basically said that if you live in NYC to run for your life if Deblasio were elected mayor. I totally agree with that statement. It’s going to be Dinkins all over again. Not going to be pretty.

Brian is very sharp although he talks fast at times and things either come out wrong or people hear wrong but I watch him every day and he’s solid. As are Steve Deucy and Hasselbeck (at least as much as I’ve seen her on this show). As for the rest of Fox I’m getting pretty discouraged that they are leaning farther and farther left.

I live in FLA and we’re actively courting companies from NY and yesterday’s election of the libtard mayor should speed things up :)

Yeah that’s true, he’s definitely a fast talker and that can work against a person sometimes.

Which TV ‘news outlet’ do you find most offensive? I’m sure you’ve seen them all... tell me.

Is this the conversion you heard during the 7am hour?

Brian: Another important thing is for those who say the Tea Party’s dead & fiscal responsibility is all yesterday’s news & Republicans are all about moderates, this guy is a Tea Party candidate. He is fiscally responsible. He ran on that line. He was not calling in moderate Republicans to help him out, Ken Cuccinelli, & he almost pulled this off.
Elisabeth: Since when did saving money become extreme?
Brian: Right. That’s true.

I’ve been filled in regarding that part of the show. I was referring to him describing the candidate responsible for taking away much needed votes from Cuccinelli. I distinctly remember hearing him refer to that candidate as the Tea Party candidate. I’m pretty sure he was referring to the “Libertarian” and probably just slipped up.

In hindsight, Brian sounds like a decent enough guy as I’m sure it was a simple mistake on his part. As another poster has said, he does talk fast sometimes and I have caught him slipping up in the past. It happens. I’m over it. I did post this very early this morning and quite frankly, I’m not a morning person. Not even after a cup of coffee.

I recorded the show, so maybe I can find the exact wording if you can remember the approx time he said it.

I couldn’t tell you the time in the show when he said it. You guys are starting to make me wonder if I heard it all at this point. I could swear that I heard him refer to Sarvis as a Tea party candidate! Could my mind be that burnt? Look at your recording for me.I hope like hell that you find it. Otherwise, just put me out to pasture.
