James Carville to President Obama: Try crack pipe By: Tal Kopan November 11, 2013 07:33 AM EST

Democratic strategist James Carville said Monday in light of President Barack Obama’s declining poll numbers, maybe he should take a page from an infamous Canadian mayor.

“I think the best thing he can do is take a toke on the mayor of Toronto’s crack pipe, because his numbers are about 48,” Carville joked on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” referring to Rob Ford, who has admitted smoking crack.

On a more serious note, Carville said in some ways, the falling poll numbers are overblown, and Obama’s record speaks for itself.

“I think we can stop putting the nails in the coffin here. We can admit that there’s some real, deep, fundamental problems with this president. But I think we’re throwing the dirt here too soon,” Carville said. “The deficit is dropping as a percentage of GDP faster than any time since World War II. He saved the auto industry. Health care costs are flattening better than any time in the last 20 years. Teenage pregnancy is at an all-time low.”

Carville said: "Obama’s record speaks for itself."

Carville finally said something he and I can agree on.

Ahhhhhhh.....now we come to it. We have to stop calling it “Obamacare” and start calling it “Democratcare”. The Democrat leaders were all for this plan when it came up. Now, they are trying to saddle it on their lame-duck President. No thank-you, Carville. This is Democratcare.

“The deficit is dropping as a percentage of GDP faster than any time since World War II

Only because the GOP tricked Obama into the "sequester" cuts trap, which he would love to reverse...

In case Carville forgot, Obama already has a long history with coke .... not that you’d ever know it from the press coverage, which amounted to a total of ZERO stories about it in the NY Times, WasPost, CNN, NBC, etc. etc.

Yet how many stories did each of these media outlets do about the Toronto mayor’s drug use? Which guy has a bigger impact on the average citizen or the world?

Ok how about a bobblehead...

TORONTO - Mayor Rob Ford is now a bobblehead. Ford’s office will be selling the collectibles — dubbed the “Robbie Bobbie” — starting next week as a fundraiser for the City of Toronto’s United Way campaign. The office bought 1,000 bobbleheads in Ford’s image before the crack controversy exploded on Halloween when Toronto Police Chief Bill Blair revealed investigators had obtained the video appearing to show the mayor smoking the drug. Despite the ongoing media circus surrounding the Ford, the bobbleheads will be going on sale for $20 each starting Tuesday morning in the City Hall rotunda. News of the “Robbie Bobbie” came out earlier this week at City Hall. Ford friends and foes alike on social media seemed to show interest in buying one, indicating it could be a fast seller. The Toronto Sun got a sneak peek at Bobble Ford on Friday. Tiny “Robbie” does resemble the life-sized Ford but it does appear to be slightly slimmer than the real-life mayor and has a bit more hair. No word if the Rob Ford bobblehead has a brother. Ford’s staff wouldn’t say if there are any plans for a “Dougie Bobbie” anytime soon.

Dear Jim C.
All people have problems, usually of a transient nature,
when they have fundamental problems, they are dangerous
and may not be safe to be around.

Just sayin serpent head, be warned.

“We can admit that there’s some real, deep, fundamental problems with this president.”

If James Carville can say that, out loud in public, about a democratic president, that is seriously damning.
