NEW YORK There are three words that strike terror in the hearts of Wall Street bankers and corporate executives across the land: President Elizabeth Warren.
The anxiety over Warren grew Monday after a magazine report suggested the bank-bashing Democratic senator from Massachusetts could mount a presidential bid in 2016 and would not necessarily defer to Hillary Clinton who is viewed as far more business-friendly for the partys nomination.
And the fear is not only that Warren, who channels an increasingly popular strain of Occupy Wall Street-style anti-corporatism, might win. That is viewed by many political analysts as a slim possibility. It is also that a Warren candidacy, and even the threat of one, would push Clinton to the left in the primaries and revive arguments about breaking up the nations largest banks, raising taxes on the wealthy and otherwise stoking populist anger that is likely to also play a big role in the Republican primaries.
The nightmare scenario for banks is to hear these arguments from a candidate on the far left and on the far right, said Jaret Seiberg, a financial services industry analyst at Guggenheim Partners. Suddenly you have Elizabeth Warren screaming about too big to fail on one side and Rand Paul screaming about it on the other side and then candidates in the middle are forced to weigh in.

1) First Woman President in America.
2) First "American Indian" (NOTE THE QUOTES) President ( Call her president Fauxcahontas ).
If George Soros wants President Fauxahontas, that’s what he will buy.
Who is behind this sudden push for Warren? The idiot hasn’t been in office for one year, and has accomplished nothing.
First, she can’t carry a single state in the south, which limits the options here.
Second, for speech-ability, she’s a third-rank amatueur compared to President Obama.
Third, her list of accomplishments....lend herself to being a College President, not a national President.
Whoever intends to forward her as the prime runner in 2016...is mostly a humorous individual who just wants to stir the pot. I can just see the comedians at work now....with a five-star target for comedy, with her whole history.
RE: Third, her list of accomplishments....lend herself to being a College President
Of which college?
Get serious.
Amherst?
Ithaca?
Running against her will be a gift to the Republicans from the giant bear god, who danced with the moon then lay down to sleep and became a mountain in the time of the long waters.
BS. Wall Street loves market-share protection. Occupy Wall Street was brought to us by Deutschebank, after all. Main Street will die, but Wall Street will do just as well as BMW did under Hitler.
Get ready for nonstop chatter about “equal pay,” “choice” and “gay rights.” Those terms will be associated with drinking games. The left will be happy when the only white males standings are learning-challenged union thugs and homosexuals.
The hard-left internet wackos. Nobody of substance. Yet.
The bottom line is the ruling class will put in there whomever they agree upon.
Unless We the People decide otherwise.
from the article-
“She almost certainly would bring fresh scrutiny to Wall Street scandals by arguing that even giant settlements like the $13 billion JPMorganChase is expected to pay to end probes into its mortgage practices are nowhere near enough to make up for the damage done during the financial crisis.”
Pari passu, what is obligation democrats should pay for the damage done to health care system?
Smith
Who counts the votes?
I don’t get where this bitch is getting any support.
Is she the next Obama...coming out of nowhere with a sketchy past to finish destroying this great republic?
The Warren for Senate campaign got a LOT of its money from Wall Street bankers.
If the media didn’t have its heads planted so far up the liberal’s establishment’s ass, they’d be vetted that.
I think it was the late George Carlin that said that on the first day on the job, every new president is invited into the Whitehouse theater by a group of Wall Street power brokers, where they are shown a video of the Kennedy Assassination from an angle the public hasn't seen before... then they are told what their agenda will be for the next term....
