We know that you all are up for re-election in 2014.

We know that you are tempted to badmouth Obamacare in order to shore up your chances for re-election.

There's more riding on this than your puny reputations and careers...the grand welfare state of the U.S.S.A. is at stake.

You will continue to support Obamacare or your families will pay the price.

If Obama’s Socialized Health Insurance Tax, (OSHIT), has little or no chance of financial success in 5 years, then why do Federal politicians in “both” political parties try to fix or replace instead of ABOLISH Obamacare?

Several Democrats have signed onto a proposal sponsored by Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.) that would force insurance companies to let people keep their health plans if they like them.

The ONLY way to do this is to get the governments friggin' fingers OFF of health care and let health care providers package their plans the way THEY want to, and let the market decide which plans succeed and which plans fail.

This will never happen, unfortunately....government creates a problem through regulation, then steps in to 'correct' the problem through more regulation.

Get your friggin' hands out of the health care system!!!!!

Look for another "Gang of 8" bipartisan group to pull the Criminalcrat's chestnuts out of the Ho-BamaCare death spiral by proposing "bipartisan fixes" and allow the blame to be "fairly" spread around both political Parties.

Boner the Weeper will, of course, bring that stupid Fred Upton's "fix" to the table for added cover. In the end, the Stupid Party will be assuming the Ho-BamaCare blame monkey which will then ride on their jellyfish backs into public perception.

I wish I weren't so cynical, but I've seen this "Lucy and the Football" act just too many times to think it will turn out otherwise.

If there’s no avoiding a shinola-eating vote in December, why not take a more politically popular one now on “keep your plan” to mitigate the damage?

THAT'S Raciss!!!!

Health insurance companies are also culprits in this Obamacare scam.

Bullshit!

I am so sick of hearing this from fake conservatives.

The CEOs of these corporations are just as smart as all of us here. They know that the end goal of this game is single payer insurance which puts them out of business.

The have to follow the laws so that's what they do.

If they could structure insurance plans from low-scale to high-scale based upon what the market would bare, and not based upon government mandate, MANY more people would be insured, at the level they desire, and the natural market competition would make it cheaper.

Instead, they are stuck following government mandates and pricing millions out of the market.

So the Congress can compell a private citizen to buy a product, under penalty if the force of government and now they can command a company to sell a product to anyone they deem?

How in the Fk does that work?

Is this Russia, the new USASR or are we A Constitional Republic bound by its charter?

This makes no sense.

If the government isn’t bound by its laws why are its citizens?

Agreed. But what they want is single payer, i.e., socialized medicine.

Friday House Dems will be voting on a bill. It is most likely goi g to get to a veto-proof majority (because, seriously, who would vote NO on a “you can keep your plan” vote in this political landscape?)

So, Senate Dems need to figure out WTF they are going to do - and fast... If the vast majority in the House passes this bill, does the Senate just not bring it up and face the media backlash that will follow?

Or, do they propose their own bill and have some of them be the ones who designed the bill thatsent Obamacare into a death spiral?

One of the two options needs to happen, and they need to be prepared for it before Friday if they are going to have any influence in the House

Their F*ed

SC Pete,

Its a “Trap” that effectively kills Obamacare by sending it into a death spiral. That is what the Dem bill would do as proposed.

The Repub bill, on the other hand, effectively removes the mandated coverage portion of the bill by allowing non-exchange insurance to be offered with minimalist options... to everyone! Who in their right mind would then buy the more expensive plans at that point? The end results will be InsCos pull out of the exchange and they collapse as we slowly go back to what we had prior

Not a bad trap to get caught in

Any Republicans or RINOS participating in "Gang of 8-II" better have a moving van reserved.
I will support dumping ALL GOP incumbents in both houses of congress!

Several payers is Partial Control Socialized Medicine. Example: Romneycare.

Single Payer is Total Control, or Communism. Example: Obamacare after it is fixed by Boehner and Reid.
