Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) on Thursday will convene a special meeting of the Senate Democratic caucus and senior White Officials to discuss the troubled rollout of ObamaCare…

These people should be put in jail for the harm that they are causing to the citizens of this country.......

Several Democrats have signed onto a proposal sponsored by Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.) that would force insurance companies to let people keep their health plans if they like them.

The only thing that Leftists understand.

The Pubbies must only back a Dimocrat ObamaRobertscare fix plan. Any R fix plan will allow the WH & MSM the opportunity to shift the blame to the Republicans. Don’t be stupid this time.

Adopt the Democrat’s mandated policy of “NO NEGOTIATIONS”. It’s their OBAMACARE. Let them be held accountable.

Incumbency is the single greatest corrupting influence of our entire political system. We can’t vote them out fast enough.

We need term limits. Only an Article V. Convention can reform Washington. The way to neuter the special interests is to throw out career politicians and replace them with citizens who know how to balance a checkbook.

SC Pete,

Its a “Trap” that effectively kills Obamacare by sending it into a death spiral. That is what the Dem bill would do as proposed.

The Repub bill, on the other hand, effectively removes the mandated coverage portion of the bill by allowing non-exchange insurance to be offered with minimalist options... to everyone! Who in their right mind would then buy the more expensive plans at that point? The end results will be InsCos pull out of the exchange and they collapse as we slowly go back to what we had prior

Not a bad trap to get caught in

IT’s A Trap!

1. It's a poison pill.
2. The carriers can't/won't resurrect the old plans.
3. If a law is passed forcing insurance companies to
resurrect old plans it will be litigated into the next decade.
4. Upton bill will probably not pass.

Easy solution: use the voter registrations. If you voted RAT you are exempt; if you voted PUB you are automatically enrolled.

Exactly. The Upton bill allows the free market to work again (at least better than Obamacare). And people are free to NOT be in bondage to the mandates such as maternity coverage, mental health, etc.)

The wailing and moaning from redstate.org and many conservatives on this site is very wrong-headed IMO. There's a reason that the WH is against the Upton bill...they are terrified it will be the death knell for Obamacare...and lots of conservatives are taking Obama's side!

It is not bullshit sir!!!! When the Dems and Obama assured the Health Insurance industry that the gov wants a Romney Care type system and not a single payer system, the Health Insurance immediately dropped all resistance to the ACA. Look at the list of healthcare reps visiting the White House. Those weren’t social calls. Look at the price of the five biggest Healthcare and Health Insurance stocks after ACA was implemented. They skyrocketed. It is the small regional insurance companies that took it on the chin, while the large ones took over markets under ACA.
CEO’s are smarter then you and me. ACA was their opportunity to use the gov to force you and me to buy their products. Obama gave in return for health industry dropping their opposition is a place at the table to write the regulations and hike up the premiums on everyone. Grow up, the enemies of freedom in America is big gov and big business.

The big, evil businesses won't have a product to sell once single payer is the law of the land.

CEOs are not so short sighted that they don't see that.

Business, big or small, has to be responsive to the public, or they perish.

Government has no such constraints.

Your admonition to me to "grow up" is comical given your ill-informed view of how the world works, your adolecent hatred of 'big business', and your third grade level grammar and spelling skills.

By their deeds we shall know them. So how is the US banking system doing. Did they man up and admit their own mistakes and took the losses like you or me??? They threaten us with financial mass destruction unless we (you and I) must pony up taxpayer money to bail them out. Big business what an example. We are too small to save but they are too big to fail. Ooh ooh I got another one. Remember the PLA DF-21 aircraft carrier killer ICBM. Fantastic guidance system it has. Wonder where they got that hi tech from. Does Loral Corporation ring a bell. Trust corporate America. Hey I got another one. Tech college grads cannot get a job, and older high tech workers are being laid off, guess what high tech corporate America is adamantly requesting, more foreign IT H-1B workers and amnesty for illegal immigrants!!!!??? Still trust big business? No sir, I grew up and got wiser you still got a long road to go on this aspect of life. Big gov and big business is the enemy of America.
